If that disturbing baby-thing lurking in P.T.'s bathroom wasn't enough to scare you, perhaps the titular character from Murasaki Baby will. The baffling PlayStation Vita exclusive's nefarious newborn seems to be the bizarre lovechild of David Lynch and Tim Burton, and also happens to be a perfect example of the title's incredibly unique art style.
In terms of gameplay, you'll guide the aforementioned baby through a serious of puzzles controlled exclusively using the handheld's front and rear touchscreens. While the full extent of these features is still a little hazy, it seems you'll have access to several different abilities which you'll need to use in order to solve these confounding conundrums. So, er, just like every other videogame ever, then?
If you're still confused, just take a gander at the video below, which sees a moustachioed Sony staffer demoing the title. What do you make of Murasaki Baby? Does its distinctive visual style float your boat, or do you find it patently creepy? Lead us around in the comments section below.

As much as I want to support ANYTHING for the Vita, this game just does nothing for me. The art is the quite alienating, not to mention the touchscreen focused gameplay. It's a shame, I buy most Vita exclusives and indies. Hope it does well with other people though.
@Artie alienatin? You don't appreciate the use of the touchscreen? Never mind. I've been looking forward to playing this. Anyone know if it'll be getting a physical release?
@SimonAdebisi Not as far as I know, I think it's PSN only I'm afraid.
@k_andersen its a little pathetic then that it was one of the 'big' new games coming to vita this year
can't wait for this
with this, danganronpa, tales of hearts r, freedom wars and hotline miami 2 coming in the next few months i'm quite happy with the games vita is getting, although i hope to see more of the next gravity rush soon.
