And we’re underway. Gamescom 2014 hasn’t technically started yet, but you didn’t think that you’d have to wait for the news to start rolling, did you? Evolution Studios has taken to the European PlayStation Blog today to announce a DriveClub special edition, which will be available at launch in the Old World from 8th October.
The package – which ships in a foil treated card sleeve – includes instant access to five high performance sports cars, including the McLaren P1 and Ferrari 458 Italia. You’ll also score two in-game livery packs to customise your car and club’s logo with, as well as a couple of real world bumper stickers based on the release’s emblem.
The special edition’s available to pre-order right now from participating retailers where it will cost you €69.99 (approximately £55). There’s no word on a North American release just yet. Will you be fuelling your hype by picking this up? Honk your horn in the comments section below.

I think I rather wait and play the PS+ Edition first, seeing as how I'm already a PS+ member and I'd rather try out the game first before considering buying the whole package.
Also Sammy, HouseMarque just released a video teasing a big announcement from them at Gamescom: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bbp1jkM8EcM
@Sadodi Literally writing it now.
Thanks for the heads up, though.
15 quid extra for that? The upgrade to full game is only for £40 on PSN right...
@get2sammyb Regarding Housemarque, after what I said yesterday in the comments for the "Hopes and fears" article, I guess this means I'm physic
I remember the days when I was able to walk into a store buy a game and know I had a complete package, I miss those days.
Approximately £55?.... £60 by the time Sony finish with it.
