With the games industry getting ready to descend upon Germany ahead of next week’s Gamescom 2014 convention, Sony is starting to hype up its annual media briefing. A few days ago it deployed a teaser trailer for what appeared to be Until Dawn, but now it’s gone with something a little more vanilla to count down to the show.
To be honest, though, it probably shouldn’t have bothered, because this is one of the worst trailers that we’ve ever seen – and we’ve watched some bad ones. It looks like the kind of thing that would be broadcast on a budget satellite television channel during the mid-nineties – and not in a good way. Let’s hope that the presentation itself is better, huh?

Why do the people look so brain dead in this teaser, case in point.
@Jazzer94 Haha, incredible stuff.
People actually using the touchpad for something? What a load of rubbish.
Well thats lowered my excitement right down. Were they high when this produced this? Because it shows.
@ShogunRok
I just don't know if the results can be replicated.
On the plus side, they actually acknowledged the Vita in this. So that's kinda cool!
Made me cringe hard that haha
This one is awkward...
LMAO Sony's going off the deep end...
Well its teasing 'something'. A 'family' game?
Usually when someone makes something overly terrible, it's meant to be sarcastic...in this case however, I think this was just "terrible".
This can't be for real?
Wait. Is that a vita I saw there? It can't be. It really can't!
Can't wait for them to announce some more ps3/ps4/vita indie games.
:/
@Punished_Boss oh my gawwwwd thats disgusting....I have to share it with everyone.
It's official, success has gone to their heads!!
Nope, this does not make me feel special. Try harder.
Listen to Soundgardens song "Black Hole Sun" while watching that trailer.
http://youtu.be/3mbBbFH9fAg
"In my eyes, indisposed in disguise as no one knows
Hides the face, lies the snake and the sun in my disgrace
Boiling heat, summer stench, 'neath the black the sky looks dead
Call my name through the cream and I'll hear you scream again"
well, maybe their plan was to lower expectations by making a messed up teaser so that there will be more excitement at the event itself?
@Demi_God I would listen to that song 24 hours a day anyway if I could. Hell, just throw Superunknown on no matter what you're doing. I see your point though, does remind me of the video somewhat.
The video for Seven Nation Army was the inspiration for this, I assume? Except, the track wasn't good enough to keep me interested. lol
