Ah, the weekend – that quiet period where real work is cancelled in favour of household chores. Assuming that you get a break from doing the cooking, cleaning, and fixing that wonky shelf in your bathroom, then you’ll probably be investing it in front of your favourite PlayStation format. Here’s what we’re going to be up to over the next couple of days.

With mechanical Editor Sammy Barker taking a few days off, I'm hoping that this weekend doesn't prove to be a busy one, just so that I can knuckle down and sink myself deeper into the endless void that is Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Knowing my luck, though, Sony will probably go ahead and announce a pre-pre-TGS conference that's happening the second that this article is published. [So, er, a press release just came through, and... - Ed]

It's taken me entirely too long, but I'm finally playing the absolutely stellar The Last of Us: Left Behind. Indeed, I'm enjoying it so much that it's raising a few ethical questions. First, is it acceptable to like a title's DLC more than the game proper? Second, is it acceptable to award DLC game of the year?
Nicola Hayden, News Reporter
Tales of Xillia 2 has quickly consumed all of my time – a rarity with the amount of titles I normally have on the go. Am I completing the game, though? No, I'm running around the world collecting cats instead. Gotta catch ‘em all!

After finally putting my review of Risen 3: Titan Lords to bed, I'm looking forward to getting to play a decent RPG this weekend in the shape of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition.

It's Madden Season! With the actual NFL season just around the corner, there is nothing like a friendly competition with my friends to see who is king of the Gridiron in Madden NFL 15. I will also do my best to take my beloved Steelers all the way to the Super Bowl.

I still haven't quite gotten my fill of Metro Redux yet, so I'm definitely going to be playing some of that. I've also neglected Battlefield 4 for a few months, so I think that I'm going to have to go back and play some of that again soon.
Joey Thurmond, Reviewer
Unfortunately, the call to study is a necessity that I must fulfil this weekend, which will be hogging up the majority of my free time. But if I have a couple of hours to game, I'll be sure to continue my galaxy-spanning adventures as FemShep in Mass Effect and play a bit more of Metro Redux, which I purchased this past Tuesday.

After playing through inFAMOUS: Second Son and earning its Platinum when the game first came out, I will be flashing my neon powers around in inFAMOUS: First Light. It will certainly lighten my weekend.
So, that’s us – but what about you? What game’s going to be keeping you busy over the coming days? Which system will you be spending the majority of your time with? Let us know in the comments section below.

I'm messing around with the Naruto Storm Revolution Demo, getting ready for the full game as it's out soon
PS4- inFamous: First Light (really like it so far, about 3/4 of the way through)
Xbox One- Madden NFL 15
Watchdogs, Surgeon Simulator, Fez, Pure Pool, Call of Duty: Ghosts all PS4, I'm already done with most so I'll likely be sticking with Watchdogs and ploughing my way through the main story and I can't help but log onto CoD and blow away a few bots. As for Vita I'm not sure if I should start on MGS HD Collection or Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus.
Wolfenstien: The new order....finding it hard to get into the story but I'll stick with it, killing Nazis is always fun.
@Gamer83 Glad you're enjoying it. I really liked First Light, too. Have you done any of the Battle Arenas yet?
Slugging my way through grounded mode on TLOUr I wants me them trophies
@Munkyknuts I started and finished it in the last week, I thought the story was okay, it wasn't a great game at all but worth smashing through. Didn't fancy playing it in uber mode.
@wobrussell pretty stinkin' fun if you ask me!
Diablo 3 UE deserves several hours and so does TLOU factions (refreshing @60;1080), but Xenosaga ep1 is my life right now😋
PlantsVZombies:Garden Warfare on PS4, because I really, really, REALLY love rubber banding and constant disconnects. Also going to finish season 2 of The Walking Dead on PS3. You can only have so many zombies in a weekend so I'll also be banging in the last trophy for platinum in the very underrated Remember Me. Oh, and BF4 too.
@JasonBeckerFan I really want to play Remember Me. It's one of those games that's been in my backlog for an eternity.
PS4- Diablo 3, MLB 14 The Show, and Madden 15
PC- Saints Row 4 and the new Grim Dawn build.
@get2sammyb
Yeah, I did the first 2, they're very fun and an easy way to rack up those skill points and even unlock some trophies.
Ratchet & Clank 1 on Vita & Rayman Legends on PS4 for me! Also been meaning to play Pikmin 3 on Wii U for ages but doubt I'll find time for that as well...
@get2sammyb Considering its vastly reduced price tag, I would recommend you do Sammy. I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to. The game was an enjoyable surprise much like Enslaved:Odyssey to the West.
I had an emotional farewell to Walking Dead Season 2 last night, if I get time today I might play a little Killzone: Shadowfall. But this is the first weekend in Donkeys that I actually have a date, so for once gaming isn't that high a priority
Well finished up episode 5 of the Walking Dead season 2 yesterday, was pretty good. I'll be playing Bit Trip Runner 2 and Table Top Racing this weekend in my spare time.
Playing Diablo III: Reaper of Souls UE on PS3 this weekend. Great game, even on PS3. Probably going to try and play some Gravity Rush on PS Vita too, really getting into that game.
My backlog of games is getting out of control. Not a bad problem to have really . I haven't played a lot of Lego Marvel, so if I get time, that's what I'll be playing.
Got a PS4 3 days ago, so Last of US and Diablo 3, maybe a little Infamous (got those 3 games with it)
I'm playing Batman Arkham Origin, but so far not enjoying like the other two. I don't know what is the real problem but the game feels cheaper and not very well worked.
With TLOUR being finished I'll be playing Left Behind DLC when I get the chance. I'm still waiting for GameStop.com to send my download code for InFamous First Light and to ship my copy of Madden 15. I had like 90 dollars left in trade credit from when I got rid of that Xbone so I decided to use that to purchase First Light and Madden 15. And that was Wednesday I believe when I ordered and I selected 1 day shipping and my stuff still hasn't been received. Those idiots.
Got alot of studying to do, after that i might get to finish last level of killzone.
Heavenly Sword (since I've gotten over my fear of games without trophies...and also because of Hellblade) and Azure Striker Gunvolt!!! >:0
X-com, PC, takes too long to load on ps3.
Diablo 3 and Infamous: First LIght. Actually enjoying First Light more than I expected, despite loving Second Son. Haven't tried the arena much though. Almost done with the story. Diablo 3 has been pretty good so far, too!
I finally managed to pick up a copy of Diablo 3 4PS4 and hopefully the kids won't play their PS3 games too long tonight XD
The idea was to finish first light and get onto Metro Redux, but I've been having too much fun with counterspy.
i'll be rampaging my way through hordes of creatures in Diablo 3, and playing through some metro redux. i've never played either of the metro games and am enjoying it so far
@ferrers405 i know exactly how you feel. when i was playing through origins it just felt cheap, i didn't enjoy it very much.
I am playing Ultra Street Fighter IV. Now for some reason the HUD won't show so I have to fight without knowing my stamina, etc. And if I go to options to change the HUD position, the game seems to freeze when going into that option. I will try deleting the old Super files and reinstalling the game.
Fallout New Vegas (PC)
Diablo III: UEE (PS3)
Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
realMyst (PC)
Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
F-Zero GX (GCN)
Super Mario Sunshine (GCN)
Fragile Dreams: Farewell to the Moon (Wii)
Wonderful 101 (Wii U)
Wild Arms 5 (PS2)
Soul Blazer (Other Means)
Azure Striker Gunvolt (3DS eShop)
But Diablo 3's gonna suck up most of my time. My holiday weekend extends all the way to Thursday, though.
Well my PC is still out of commission, (Not quite sure when it will get fixed since I have hit a bit of a financial SNAFU) so I will be sticking with the consoles and handhelds again.
Xbox 360 — Left 4 Dead and NFL Blitz (Picked up these both for 5 dollars each as part of XBL Gold with Games sale)
PS4 — Maybe some NBA 2K14 with my son
Wii U — Mario Kart 8 (online) Not sure why but I find Online mode very relaxing. Also I picked up AD&D Chronicles of Mystara for $1.75 due to Capcom's eShop sale and the Digital Deluxe Promotion.
3DS — Warioland II I am still hooked on this game. I usually play it at night when I am relaxing in bed.
I'm about to start a metro redux marathon -might a have go on dragons teeth bf4 for a little bit first..also,watching bojack horseman..have a good one y'all
@get2sammyb Really enjoyed Remember Me. Its was free through PS+ so its worth a try at least. Im sticking with Diablo 3 this weekend as that game is so much fun. Addictive too!!!
Collecting the rest of the trophies in inFamous First Light and playing some TLOU multiplayer.
Living up to my forum image and playing No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise at the moment, making me wish I had a Move controller - NMH really isn't the same if you can't charge up your beam katana in that way.
I'm trying my hand at Metrico on the Vita. I like it better than Road Not Taken so far, which got slightly better reviews. Each puzzle in Metrico is standalone and I prefer that. I've yet to finish Strider, so that's a possibility, but I kind of screwed myself in that game by never getting any health bar powerups.
I finally got around to starting Hotline Miami on Vita! i dont know what took me so long, this game is amazing. I was hooked after the first 5 minutes.
Diablo and more Diablo.
Mostly operation locker on battlefield 4.
@GameAce I was really surprised by metrico thought it was a really good game.
Azure Striker Gunvolt (3DS eShop)
Wario Land II (3DS Virtual Console)
Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
Looking to finish up the first two pretty soon, so I can put more time into Xenoblade. Still have a couple PS3 games I've yet to play (Ni No Kuni, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Kingdom Hearts 1.5, etc.), but I don't want to start any games that will take a while to beat until I finish Xenoblade.
Been playing Okami HD. Lent a friend my copy of TLOUR because he wouldn't buy it himself (said it wasn't the type of game for him) and he's been hooked on it for about a month now. That's what I would be playing otherwise. Oh, and maybe some First Light. I was a big fan of Second Son and I preordered First Light but still haven't gotten around to downloading it yet.
@T7L3R How are you enjoying Okami so far? I thought it was a great Zelda inspired game that managed to be its own thing despite the blatant similarities.
Injustice (ps4), Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition (ps4), Hoard (ps3), Original Halo Game of the year Edition (Xbox), Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind (Xbox).
@Manic7Muppet8 Its a great time to jump in diablo i got mine the day it released on ps4.
You can also add me on my other account too PSN : nukacola101 and my main account PSN : odd69
@Scorpio73 @Faruko add me up for some diablo, what level are you, i got some extra spare rare LOOT !!! I'm gifting them to friends who are on my friends list PSN : odd69
@hadlee73 I haven't finished kingdoms yet but i LOVE the action and it just feels epic to me i'd give it an 8.2/10
Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (360) - My daughter and I are over halfway through the game, should finish soon
@odd69 Cool... Which account is your PS3 one.?? I'll add you...
@CanisWolfred If you're looking for players to team up with on Diablo III UEE (PS3) could always add me ( PSN - Gahiberis_Kurs78 )...
Finaly finished killzone was a drag to get through, game looks nice but story bored me abit and i dunno how to explain it but it just felt linear.
@Faruko those three games are arguably the system's best. have fun!
@Storytime7 well I'm a huge fan of zelda so I'm really enjoying it. The battle system is so much better than Twilight Princesses was (that's the game I keep comparing it to). Overall the game really feels like a game that Nintendo would make themselves.
I'm playing Fez on the Vita. Man they get the presentation right in that game. I'm not usually interested in games that look like they could be run on a 16 bit console, like we had a shortage of good 16 bit games... But when the little dude is collecting what he needs to collect, or opening up a chest or whatever, boy does the game pop.
Tales of xillia 2. Ghost and maybe some mk8.
@Manic7Muppet8 PS3/PS4 PSN ID : odd69
Will continue to Stream some PvZ and TLOU MP
@hadlee73 that game is really fun.
PS4: Blacklight Retribution
NWU: Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
XBO: Nothing recently.
