As promised, Sony has revealed the second round of Summer Sale savings – and this time, the heat is focused solely on the PlayStation 4. While none of these discounts go as low as you may be used to on the PlayStation 3 or Vita, it’s probably worth remembering that the next-gen console isn’t even a year old yet. That said, there are some pretty reasonable deals here, especially on some of the smaller indie games.

@Reverandjames Yeah, the retail stuff is poor. Some of the indie discounts are good, though.
@Reverandjames Have they fixed Basement Crawl yet? Thought they was going to rebuild the whole game due to it effectively being broken?
So much for a great sale. I didn't even pay £44 for Wolfenstein at launch.
@Reverandjames @Mrskinner That's right, they said they were going to completely remake it. No update yet. That sounds mental to me, though - they'll bankrupt themselves, surely?
Basement Crawl hadn't been fixed a few weeks ago when I asked/looked. I thought Sony ended up refunding most of the original buyers due to it being unplayable, then they have the cheek to put it in the sale.
Hope the dev does go bust. Putting out rubbish like that and not sorting it within six months is criminal.
MGSV is an insta buy for me at £12.

Injustice: gods among us is down to £15-£20 in some shops....the prices for big games in the sale are still too steep for me I'm afraid. If wolfenstien had had a bigger price drop I'd be tempted. I already have most of the discounted indie games I'd want.
@Munkyknuts The injustice sale price makes no sense to me. I paid £15 for it when it was on sale a few months ago on the store. The sale price now seems ridiculous. I wouldn't bet against it being a PS+ title come the holiday season either.
Chess, steam world (maybe), strike suit zero. Not bad I suppose, agreed, retail stuff is poor, only bound by flame is good price but the game sucks bad.

I might get Super Motherload. The hilarious thing for me is that I've bought most of the games on this list and not played them yet. I really should stop getting things day one.

I'd love to know why there's such a massive price difference between the EU and NA stores. Even the EU sale price for some content is more expensive than the normal NA price. Ever considered asking a Sony VP during an interview to explain it push square?
If you haven't already bought some of the games in that line-up then those discounts represent really good value. Trials Fusion, Rayman Legends and particularly Tomb Raider are some excellent deals. Personally, I only buy digitally downloaded games because I subscribe to the theory that digital is ethical (as far as the games industry is concerned) so these prices make it a lot less painful to be a digital gamer. At the end of the day these discounts are nicer to have than nothing at all.
Is it wrong I want to buy Transistor even though I don't have a PS4 yet?
Rayman Legends has caught my eye at £18 with the extra PS+ discount. Might have to invest in that one as it's a little more lighthearted than the stuff I been playing recently.
