There’ll be no danger of your PlayStation Vita ever tumbling off your coffee table again, as Sony has released a new stability update for the diminutive device. Available right now – and mandatory, we’re afraid – the patch doesn’t appear to change anything about the handheld’s user experience. Speculation suggests that it may have blocked some nefarious homebrew, however, though that’s purely the word on the grapevine.
The file is only small, so shouldn't take longer than a few minutes to download and install on an average Internet connection, but you will need to do it before you can connect to the PlayStation Network. As such, we recommend starting the process, walking to the kettle, and making a nice cup of tea – before moaning about the whole thing on Twitter. After all, we love it when our timeline is filled with people whinging.

The most inconvenience this gave me was the interruption of FF X-2 HD's almost Biblical download.
-_- wooo..... Dont Care
I havn't powered mine on since the last system update. LOL
The update should include a good AAA game or two. Lol.
Since the last update I've been getting this annoying thing happening where it keeps telling me my battery is low, then going back up to 75% - 50% power, it effing sucks, and actually causes my vita to shut down on occasion...
Whoopie..... Make more vita exclusives 💤
Damn looks like I'll have to stop playing Dragons Crown for a few minutes

Oh yes he did!
Would be nice if they planned on implementing this UNITY stuff I keep hearing about
It only does nothing.
My vita is so stable I could keep horses in it.
