With the likes of The Last of Us and Hideo Kojima’s brilliant P.T. demo ripping up the survival horror rulebook, we’re not convinced that grotty prisons and hanging bodies are going to do the trick for Capcom anymore. This trailer for the episodic Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is beyond predictable, right down to the fact that Claire Redfield appears to have a different face these days. First it was Jill Valentine, now this...

@get2sammyb It kind of worked out for Jill Valentine though as her Revelaitons model looks close to the RES 1 model.
Yawn.
I don't mind the trailer I"m just put off by the episodic structure...... I hope there's a raid mode even if its a physical version extra
Dunno about all out 'bad', upon replaying the early games recently its a series which for me is as over the top and camp at times, as it is scary.
In a way I think the modern games remain true to this mix pretty well.
not great but not that bad. Mainly not fond of succession of cuts (no pun intended)
Well on the bright side the game won't cost a full $60.
even themselves are not confident enough for a full retail release. Bet they wanna test the water with lower risk using this episodic module..

I can't wait :3
They better not screw this game up.....
Resident Evil is really starting irritate me. Capcom is destroying (or has destroyed) one of the best franchises in gaming. And the REALLY irritating thing is, it's bc of completely ridiculous design decisions that leave me shocked as to how anyone at Capcom even have jobs at this point.
I am just waiting to replay the Resident Evil remake (awesome game, btw), then this series can go f@#% itself.
.......(steps down from soap box). Lol.
I was hoping for a same-screen co-op like, say, RE6 to play it with my bro, but after this trailer I won't keep high expectations... Claire was always walking alone.
Is capcom doing this to try to squeeze more money in the long run? I can't help but think Capcom is really digging themselves into a hole lately, and it's been getting worse year after year. It's like they keep on trying to do the same crap but in a different form. O.O
I'm looking forward to this!
So glad they did this instead of Resident Evil 7!
Come on, kids....all aboard the train to The Evil Within! Back to our father!
@3rdEyeMind
Let's not jinx it........early impressions haven't been kind so far.
@3rdEyeMind
I was looking forward to that one, then I read some more recent previews.
@Godsire- @Gamer83 Meh, I don't really trust them. I've seen gameplay,and it looks pretty great.
