Destiny’s theme song has been written and composed by Paul McCartney, because, well, who else would have the star power required to represent Bungie’s next big thing in audio form? The track – which was recorded at the famous Abbey Road studio with a 120-piece ensemble, of course – has that soaring kind of sound that you’d expect from a sci-fi title, and is all about bridges in the sky. Or something.
Look, it’s no Helter Skelter, so let’s just leave it at that. Oh, and this first plays during the game’s credits, so if you’re eager to avoid spoilers, please don’t click on the clip below. You’ve been warned, and all that.

Good lord, Spitting Image McCartney is horrific. Forgot about that.
And what a mediocre song!
He was famous. He should stop now.
Well it took 50 years but I finally found a Paul McCartney song I don't like.
I think he was trying to disguise his voice. It's like he told them - I'll take your money, write your song, conduct an orchestra and even sing for you, (then under his breath - but I'm screwing up my voice so nobody knows it's me.)
It reminds me a lot of the Star Trek: Enterprise theme song. And for those of you who don't follow all things ST, believe me, that's not a compliment.
