After a small spell of exclusivity on Microsoft's machines, Peggle 2 is finally set to break blocks on the PlayStation 4 next month. Following fast in the wilted leaves of Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, the bounce-'em-up will deploy on 14th October in North America and 15th October in Europe. And, as you'd expect, it will run in 1080p at 60 frames-per-second.
The best news for veteran block busters, however, is that the release will boast a Platinum Trophy, allowing you to boast about your bouncing skills between your friends. If you're eager to see more of the port, developer PopCap will be debuting live footage on its official Twitch channel today from 19:00PM BST (10:00AM PST). You can catch that through here.

I'm definitely looking forward to it! Peggle is surprisingly addictive.
i love peggle. can't wait
Good to see the PS4 hardware being used to its full potential.
Guess Ill be playing it on PC the way it was meant to be. I mean I would play it on a console - and I did - but the mouse control really is better.
For some reason (last I checked), the original Peggle had been pulled from PS3 store. I have no idea why, but it's very odd.
I was really hoping a vita version would get released. Sigh
Should we be happy about this?
