Considering it’s arguably the biggest video game franchise on the planet, it’s been a bit of a shame to see Call of Duty slip behind its peers – both in terms of stale gameplay, and practically rancid visuals. This new trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, however, aims to prove that power changes everything – and in the case of the next-gen hardware, er, powering it, we reckon that it proves its point fairly potently.
Of course, the real highlight here is the first look at the title’s co-op mode: Exo Survival. It’s four-player based, and maintains the same explosive appeal as its competitive multiplayer suite and campaign. Do you like what you’ve seen of this game thus far? Yeah, as I've posted before, definitely looking forward to this one. First time since MW 2. Mainly for the singleplayer campaign but some of the new multiplayer stuff looks bada$$ as well.
from the last gameplay i seen of this tells me not to even think about getting it. it looks rubbish IMO. call of duty will never be the same with all this futuristic crap they keep doing. the best one for me was actually modern warfare (the 1st one) as it was a realistic shooter when that came out with kind of good multiplayer. now the game is so far from reality that it just looks so stupid and i don't understand all this futuristic stuff in shooting games. its why i have always preferred battlefield after modern warfare 2. this new cod just looks like a stupid mash-up of titanfall and crisis, both of which wasn't very good either.
Looks cyberpunk. First COD I think I'm interested in.
@Danny2014 it's funny because when I first played titanfall I described it to my mate as a cross between COD and Crysis lol
Already ordered, it'll definitely look more impressive that. Destiny but will it be as much fun.. I'll wait n see
This could well be my first Cod purchase since MW2! Have to say I'm much more looking forward to FC4 though...
Like everyone above, I'm actually looking forward to this one, if anything because it doesn't look like your typical COD game. Check in some sci-fi elements and futuristic machinery in anything, and I'm sold.
I usually skip every other call of Duty. I skipped CoD:Ghost, so now I'll get CoD:AW. To me this game is looking pretty freaking awesome. I'm not ashamed to say that I like CoD games, their fun and can be very competitive.
No thanks. When they churn out decent balanced gameplay and a decent length story I may consider it. But who knows?
I didn't mind Ghosts' campaign, but the multiplayer was the same crap as always to me.
Last sentence was not necessary - get2sammyb
Like the 3rd COD I'll have to pass on. Still seems stale. Just waiting for Treyarch to bring out some new zombies, Map sizes should be pretty epic with 8GB to work with tingling inside
Looks interesting, haven't played a CoD since the first Black Ops.
COD games have "rancid" visuals? 60 FPS at the expense of "next gen" fluff like ambient occlusion and blur everywhere is a big plus, in my book. I actually think they were some of the best lookin console games of last gen, PS exclusives aside.
I've always been a day one buyer for CoD but I'm probably gonna wait on this one
@kupo They used to be but in my opinion, they just stayed the same as other games began pushing the boundaries.
Not a game breaker by any means, if you like the gameplay.
I thinks it's crap, and no graphical wizardry is going to change that.
A step up from the mediocre Ghosts but I am not getting another until they go back to the WW2 theme. My faves are COD 3 and Black Ops I
Nerfed scavenger for pvp is a big disappointment for me,one grenade per life really sucks.Using lots of equipment/grenades is a skilled practice, where you die lots if you dont play well.its not op compared to campers, quickscopers ect thats bull-ish
@wobrussell Really? That's interesting.
I'm not really a CoD fan, though I did buy the last 2 games. I enjoy the campaigns, played online maybe twice. But this is the first one I'm actually somewhat anticipating. Maybe it has to do with the fact you play the games a lot and I don't. Maybe I'm just not burnt out on them because I only play single player, so that's like 10 hours of CoD per year, which is minuscule if you think about it.
