Well, this particular author was originally dreading having to wake up at about 6AM in order to manage Push Square's livestream of Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, but as it turns out, it was yet another solid showing from the Japanese giant. Much like Gamescom 2014, the pacing was fast and fluid, and the games just kept on coming. Of course, many of the titles in the spotlight were big hitters like Destiny that you've no doubt heard enough about already, so we've compiled a quick list of everything new and important, just in case you missed the early showing, or you simply haven't had the time to keep up. So have sit back, grab a nice hot drink, and click the links below to your heart's content.

Wait, theres gona be another Sony TGS conference??
Is it weird that the firmware update is what I'm most excited about...? =
Actually, bloodborne is right up there too.
@SuperSilverback Sony usually has a conference around the time of the show - but I might be assuming! I can't really find any confirmation at this point. I've edited the post so that no one gets their hopes up...
@SuperSilverback This was a Pre-TGS show
TGS is only on the 18th if I'm not mistaken
Really interested to see how many of these games get a western release. Not expecting all of them will. So people here may get their hopes us in vein. Their choice of Morpheus demo was "interesting". I can see it taking off though.
Sigh... my ps4 games wishlist grows to over 30+ AAA titles for 2014/15. Wish I could freeze time.
@bbq_boy
Adding to the 16 PS4, 13 Wii U, 8 Xbox One, 6 3DS and 3 Vita games I've already got pre ordered, that's plenty to keep the good times rollin' for quite a while!
Persona 5 on PS4- as it should be... as it should be,
Square Enix announcing and releasing ANOTHER Final Fantasy before FF15 even gets a release year? As it should NOT be. Least this one looks halfway decent.
@bbq_boy Me too brother, me too...
[though it's a nice problem to have ]
@JaxonH Wish I could find 13 Wii U games I want to buy! The only ones I have on my radar are Zelda and Captain Toad (I'm one of the 5 people in the world that doesn't like Smash...)
@JaxonH What final fantasy did they announce? did i miss something?
@Dodoo
I also don't like smash, wonder who the other 3 people are
@DualWielding Type Zero port. They didn't announce it at THIS show, but they had gameplay footage. Said it'll be out within a year from now. Another one comes and goes
@Dodoo Here's a few I would recommend keeping an eye on...Bayonetta 2 should definitely be on your radar. Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem is another. Splatoon, MOST DEFINITELY Xenoblade Chronicles X, Star Fox, and watch for Devil's Third too.
Also, I'm a huge platformer fan. I love a good, well crafted platformer. Yoshi's Wooly World is gonna be one to watch for. I'm a pretty good judge of platformers, and I think that one could actually rival Rayman Legends, DKC and NSMBU. You probably wouldn't like Kirby Rainbow Curse. But Canvas Curse on DS was great. I expect nothing less from sequel. Ans watch out for Fast Racing Neo- Shinen is releasing screenshots this month.
@DualWielding They're all locked up in Ashworth.
@bbq_boy Out if curiosity what are those 30+ AAA games? There's only three AAA and one indie game on PS4 in the next eighteen months for me (Batman, Farcry, Persona and No Man's Sky).
@JaxonH - Yeah I forgot about X which will probably be a day one purchase but I'd like to see some actual footage of SMTxFE first, though I have long been a fan of Fire Emblem so will likely grab that also.
Rainbow Curse looks good, I had the DS version which was novel at the time. Somehow I can't see the Wii U game living up to Rayman Legends/DKC standards but hope I'm wrong. If anyone's gonna get a platformer right it's Nintendo...
Problem is a lot of these games look like they are a very long way off. We've not even seen Starfox yet and Zelda probably won't be seen again until E3 2015. These could easily be 2016 releases knowing Nintendo?!?
@rastamadeus - I've got 30+ games on my PS4 wishlist also! Here are some off the top of my head - AC: Unity, FC4, DriveClub, Witcher 3, Shadow of Mordor, GTA5, No Mans Sky, Batman, Tearaway, MGS5, Uncharted, Tomb Raider (eventually!), The Order, Journey, LBP3, Destiny, The Crew, RIME, Bloodborne, Persona 5, Toy Soldiers, The Division, Wild, Hellblade, Tomorrow Children, Evolve and others I've forgotten!
Damn there's some good games in the pipeline!
@Dodoo
Think they said they have 14 Wii U 1st party games releasing next year, or exclusives or something like that. Pretty sure Zelda will be the big holiday release game like Smash and 3D World before it.
Biggest PS4 releases next year I'm excited for are Final Fantasy Type 0, Witcher 3, and Batman Arkham Knight. For 3DS, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and Xenoblade, and for Vita, we'll, nothing we know of.
@JaxonH - "Pretty sure Zelda will be the big holiday release game like Smash and 3D World before it."
I really hope you're right. The short clip we did get looked absolutely stunning!
