I don’t care if Monday’s blue, Tuesday’s grey and Wednesday, too; Thursday, I don’t care about you – it’s Saturday, I’m in love. Alright, we lazily adapted the lyrics, but you get the idea, right? Unlike ordinary editions of What Are You Playing, this has been organised extremely early, because much of the Push Square team is out running around the EGX showfloor like headless chickens. Hurrah!

EGX has finally rolled around again, but in spite of all of the mega-hit AAA smashers that will be present at the show, my longing gaze is drawn to a more niche title. Yes, WWE 2K15 will be playable this year, and like a middle-age kid in an oiled-up underwear-clad candy store, I'm childishly excited – although it's mainly because new IP holder 2K's influence is finally apparent (the wrestlers don't look like rubbish waxworks anymore).

This week, I've been a sick little gamer, so I'm going to snuggle up and take it easy with Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star. Sporadically, I will continue my Don't Starve journey, fuelling my nightmares with nests of giant spiders.

This weekend I'll be immersed in the vast array of gaming delights on show at EGX during the day, while also sampling the London nightlife with the rest of the Push Square crew in the evening. There's certainly worse ways to spend your time [Don’t be so sure about that, Alex – Ed].

With only a week to complete all of the activities in the recent Destiny event ‘Wrath of the Queen’, I will be taking my Level 27 Titan out on the field to complete the Queen’s requests as fast as I possibly can. When I am off the battlefield, I will make my way to a different type of field – a football pitch. FIFA 15 is finally out, and I can’t wait to take Liverpool all the way to the top [Gross – Ed].

I hope to play Alien: Isolation, Bloodborne, LittleBigPlanet 3, and The Order: 1886 when I attend EGX London on Sunday, although my fingers are crossed for Batman: Arkham Knight, too. Meanwhile, I'll beat Velocity 2X, which made Push Square's Most Wanted list from Eurogamer Expo 2013.

Destiny still remains one of my highlights for another weekend of gaming. Playing with friends really saves it from getting repetitive, and since we're all Level 20 and haven't even finished Venus after playing almost 20 hours, we've still got more ahead of us. Other than that, I'll actually be spending some time on The Walking Dead: Season 2. I’ve just finished Episode 3, and can't wait to see what happens next!
Sorry for the short and sweet issue, but we’ll be back with full force next time around. Until then, don’t forget to fill up the comments section with your gaming plans.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare for me. Got addicted to it over the past couple of days. May dabble in some FIFA too, if the Derby goes well (for some reason when we, Liverpool, lose - so often at the moment - I just won't touch football games).
@crazykcarter I found PES slower, more unnatural and even more boring than the last few. Can't be worse than the last one though, surely. Worst football game I've ever played - with so little commentary you'd have thought the game was on a NES cartridge.
Destiny.
Saturday wait...
and sunday always comes too late...
Friday never hesitates... (ahem)
Anyway I'm finishing off the Rayman Origins levels in Rayman Legends and probably play some Persona 4 on Vita too!
I'm still leaving Destiny alone, at least for now. I'll check back in with it in a few weeks to see what changes have been made, and to see if Legendary engrams do actually net legendary gear by then.
This weekend I'll be playing Valient Hearts: The Great War.
just got the platinum of lego marvel, gonna start some ofthe ps plus ps4 games now, stick it to the man maybe.
NHL 15 HUT, will be livestreaming it aswell
Storm Revolution (again), still Playing Final Fantasy VII on my Vita and now I finished Xillia I can start on Xillia 2 so plenty to do
Catherine on the PS3, I'm really enjoying the game but the puzzles are hard...
Remember when I was sneering at Destiny and said it was all hype and a boring game? Well, funny story! I hit level 20 last night.
I also need to finish Metro: Last Light but the vehicle section is just dragging on and on to the point where it's becoming a slog. Hopefully it'll end soon as it was great up to then.
Diablo 3 to satisfy my loot craving until destiny makes its way into my grubby hands. Then some Battlefield to finish of those pesky assignments (bf4 is the first game I have ever tried to fully complete, not sure why). Happy gaming everyone.
Hyrule Warriors... anyone?
This weekend will be Nintendo only, I'm afraid, as I'm loving Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright and Theathrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call to no end.
If I can get away from any of these games (highly unlikely), I'l continue Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 as I think it is a better game than I was expecting.
Toukiden: The Age of Demons- One day last week I jus randomly decided to try out the demo, and loved it. So I decided to get the full game, haven't stopped playing it since. Seems like a Monster Hunter clone, but I like this on better because of the faster combat and other stuff.
Gravity Rush- Gonna be finishing up some side missions.
Mario Golf: World Tour- Haven't touched this game since forever. In the mood for playing this game online with friends.
Still playing Fallout 3 and Diablo 3. Diablo is probably one of my favorite games to remote play - lets me keep on playing while my wife plays Skyrim.
Trying to platinum destiny while I wait for new content, flawless raid is a chore. I wish they would make the trophy: complete the raid without any deaths for yourself rather than the whole party going needing to go flawless
It has been Dragon Age 2/Lego Batman 2 and Velocity X2. The first on PS3 the others on Vita.
About 10 more days to get my hands on Shadow of Mordor so its Diablo 3 on PS4 and the usual mix on PS3 and Vita with my kid.
@Totaldude911 - Just you and me for HW it seems. Some hardcore Sony fans on here I reckon.
I started playing Minecraft a few days ago and was severely addicted for 6 - 8 hours and thought I would be playing that all weekend then I died a few times and now I'm done. I do feel bad leaving my wolf pack alone but I had run out of food to feed them anyway.
HW has a $19.99 "season pass" DLC package consisting of 4 DL packages over the next 6 months for any Sony fans who feel all games need paid DLC to merit a purchase
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on PC. I'm still pretty new to the game, but I'm improving and it's starting to get fun.
Well besides Diablo, i just found out that i can import Destroy All Humans : path of the Furon for the ps3(u.k) so I'm playing all of the Destroy all humans Franchise
@rjejr
Ha, you know I prefer Nintendo and I have no intentions of getting HW anytime soon. No way I am paying $60 for that one.
As for my games, I need to wait for Pacman and the Ghostly Adventures to download so I can try it out (thanks Smash sale) and I found out that my Uncharted 3 disc refuses to boot up, so there goes my Crushing playthrough. I went back to Puppeteer this morning just to remind me why I never play it.
So I guess the rest of my gaming plans consist on playing something on 3DS, like Pokémon X, the Tappingo games and the Smash demo.
Diablo 3 and PlayStation All Stars for easy trophies.
I will be playing destiny no doubt, trying to up my last few light levels, also the vault of glass is calling my name. also snagged me an exotic bounty, which to get i have to make 200 fusion rifle kills in the weekly nightfall strike, so that sucks. all the while i will be eagerly awaiting for my pre order of shadow of mordor. i guess i'll waste the hours playing destiny and hyrule warriors.
@SkywardLink98
counter strike looked great. i always wanted to play, but never did
@XFsWorld
toukiden is such a good game, i played it for months on end. it was my go to game, addicting and awesome. true it is a monster hunter clone, but i feel like they did a lot of things better. here's to hoping to see a ps4 installment in the future.
@SunnyShores Bots will be your best friends for the first 20 hours or so (depending on how many shooters you play) but once you can stay alive for more than 20 seconds it's pretty fun. I'm playing CS:GO, so I can't speak for earlier entries.
I played some Skyrim and GT6 has a huge update. Can't wait for all the new ps4 titles coming soon. I hate to say I'm almost bored of all my ps4 games (not so much Diablo 3 tho)
@sinalefa - "No way I am paying $60 for that one."
I didn't mind paying the $60, both my kids and I are playing our own play through plus mulitplayer so I can see us more than getting our money's worth - but day 1 $19.99 "season pass" to get the rest of the game seems a bit much for a Nintnedo console. At least Nintnedo waited a couple of months before announcing the MK8 DLC. $20 day 1 is 33% of the retail price so it's not a trivial amount, we may not get it but it's constantly there on the start-up screen beckoning us, and that I don't like. Game itself is awesome though.
It was worth it just for the Adventure mode start up w/ the epic music:

@get2sammyb Sammy, I think that your song choice is showing your age a little! Takes one to know one.
I just bought Metro Redux, inFAMOUS First Light, Pure Pool, Sparkle 2 and Transister. The last two were on sale. Traded my copy of Destiny as I was really let down by it and found the story week and the game got very repetitive. A load of my friends have traded there copy towards Fifa 15 but I used my trade value to get all those games I mentioned above, which is what Im am playing this weekend.
Well now that I am off from work for the weekend its going to be the following
Wii U — New Super Mario Bros U — I finally broke into this game after getting it a few months ago due to the MK8 promotion. So far I have beat 3 worlds but for now I am stuck on the ice ghost house.
PC — World of Warcraft — Just a little more then a month till the next expansion hits and I still have alot to do.
@SunnyShores Yeah
Altered Beast on PS3
@rjejr
Thanks for the honest opinion. I don't see my bro playing this with me so co op would be out of the question. As you mention, the extra content makes the whole game $80.
Funny thing I found the problem with the Uncharted 3 disc. If I play it while connected to the Internet (as I was downloading Pacman on the Wii U) and refuse to get the latest patch, the game freezes at startup. So I disconnected the access point and now the game runs normally.
Anyway, I hope you and your kids enjoy HW.
@SkywardLink98 Hope you're playing Competitive mode...it's the only way to play! Sticking with that game and learning to stay alive makes it one of the most satisfying multiplayer games I've ever played, despite the usually volatile online community.
Check out the "Survivor" mode of The Last Of Us multiplayer too if you haven't...it's the closest thing to CS on console, imho (in terms of strategy, teamwork, pace, and skill).
i love the cure
@kupo Last of us MP is severely underrated. If you are on a top notch team with comms agains another team with comms its awesome back amd forth gameplay!
Also regards ps plus: I hear that flower might be on there, Im really wanting to try it out, I loved Journey on the PS3 and flower looks brill!
Little bit of Madden, and I'll want to play some Lego Marvel if time permits.
started Destiny about 4 days ago, didn't think much of it at first but
i'm really liking it now.
currently i'm at level 21, it's a nice feeling when your tag is in yellow.
Still trying to wrap up xillia 2 so i can start shadow of mordor next week.
Hyrule Warriors (WiiU), finishing Ace Attorney Dual Destinies (3DS) & Diablo 3 (PS4)
if you have a WiiU, get Hyrule Warriors amazing game first time with a Dynasty Warriors game, and im loving it
