Bloomin’ heck, we always suspected that Destiny was going to be a bloody big deal, but even we weren’t expecting the fanfare that has manifested around the first-person shooter over the past few days. Earlier today, Sony revealed that it’s treating the release like one of its own, while there are plenty of reports of ridiculous turnouts at midnight launches around the globe. It’s the biggest game of the year so far, then, and you’re going to want a piece of the action, right? Fortunately, if you can’t be bothered to shop around, we’ve done the legwork for you – and found the best deals for the PlayStation 4 version currently available on the web.
- Tesco - £35.00 - Create a new account and use voucher code 'TDX-HQ9T'
- Amazon UK - £40.00
- GameStop UK - £44.97
- Zavvi - £48.99
- GAME - £49.99
There aren’t exactly any out of this world offers above, but you’ll be engaging in enough interstellar adventuring when you get the game to more than make up for that. That said, do let us know if you find any better deals around the web – and be sure to share your thoughts on the game through here.

It needs to be a bit cheaper on Amazon UK, before i take the plunge and I need reviews to confirm or debunk my suspicions.

Mine was a tesco pre order at £40 with voucher code for pre orders, also used my club card boost points to reduce the cost to £27, no bad. Also comes with free headset.
Well i pre-ordered mine at game, went to pick it up and the nice guys behind the counter asked me if I wanted a preowned copy?!?! It appears that a woman pre-ordered a copy for her son and he didn't want it and he asked her to trade it in for the last of us remastered. So I got it, still in its sealed wrapper, for £34.99. And I traded in a whole bunch of titles so paid nothing. Result!
@LordBagardo got his copy from Tesco online for £40 (before this new price drop) along with a free headset, which is actually really good quality. Seems like it was a bargain bundle.
@shogunRok I got the same deal from Tesco for £40 with headset and over the moon with it =)
I got it from Tesco for £40, I didn't get a headset
