Destiny PS4 Loot Cave

Destiny may not be this editor’s favourite game in the world, but your humble host will always accept when something’s awesome – and this is awesome. Remember the futuristic shooter’s first ever Loot Cave that was patched up towards the end of September? Well, now it’s haunted. No, seriously.

If you head to the location in Old Russia, you’ll find an icon asking you to ‘Disturb the Remains’. Hold down the square button and you’ll be greeted by subliminal messages, one of which pointing out that a “million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool”. We suspect that the super fans among you are already chortling.

Those of you that need a little extra context: Rahool is the name of the game’s Cryptarch, who transforms engrams into loot – many of which were farmed in this location. Alright, in hindsight, maybe it’s not that funny – but it’s a nice little touch, and evidence of how Bungie’s long-tail support can keep this game interesting over a prolonged period of time.
