We wished that we could pad out slow news days with pictures of kittens chasing their tails, but unfortunately the company directors may have something to say about that. Fortunately, we can fill out the evening with DriveClub clips, like the one embedded below. Thank you Evolution Studios for giving us something to write about.
The video shows an Audi R8 bombing down a gloomy raceway at night. The real highlight, though, is the crash, which looks absolutely terrifying from the title’s first-person perspective. Is it newsworthy? Probably not, but we thought that it was cool nonetheless. If you’re still not sure what you’ll get in the release's PlayStation Plus version, divert your attention through here.

In other news Kittens no longer considered cute, Internet goes wild. More at 11.
That crash was insane. I also want to see you pad out a slow day with kittens chasing their tails one day. I'm serious, post that article.
Notice the red shirt Zombie track side, didn't even flinch watching that crash.
Check the points under the crash! Crazy crashing all day for me
I wonder if there will be a category for best crasher...lol
@Davs_Due Btw, the points says drifting
Is it newsworthy? Probably not, but we thought that it was cool nonetheless.
Also Burnout crashes >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else.
And not one crack in the windshield. I have been looking forward to Driveclub for a long time as I need my racer fix but I do worry that it will be far to accessible by the car have driving aids alway turned on. I hope it's like Forza on the XB360 as on that you could turn of everything from the ABS, Traction Control, Stability Control to the racing line. You could also have manual gears with clutch if you so wanted and Forza was a more accessible racer. I just hope DriveClub has a similar set up as Evolutin Studios seem to have nailed the look and sound of the cars. If its what Im hoping for they'll get my money day one. If not, I'll play the free version and wait for Project Cars.
Considering doing this in real life: terrifying
How it actually looked for a videogame: underwhelming
Who cares about the rollover, I'm watching the driving part and it is looking awesome. Looks a lot better than forza. Also, I'll take another Burnout Paradise game over Forza.
I thought the crash looked very good. The game is so realistic looking it almost looks like a real crash.
@Itachi Only in a real crash all windows would be shattered, the roof dented in and probably all airbags deployed... I thought it looked rather static, but I don't play a racing game to crash, but to race. And I'm curious how it will hold up in that department!
It's a mix of sim and arcade so don't expect it to excell for either, if it don't tick your boxes then buy something else, as for crash realism, well, the devs said they didn't want total destruction of cars because they want everyone to finish the race. There is damage to the car, look at the left side window and top left of windscreen.
ZOMG THIS GAME LOOKS SO GOOD. I don't care if its 30 FPS - if the gameplay is consistent as the graphics - I'll be in heaven.
