After two successive snubs, the Geometry Wars series is finally making it onto Sony platforms, with Geometry Wars3: Dimensions launching on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The sharp shooting title will hit the digital marketplace on 25th November in North America, and the following day in Europe. As for pricing, the game will set you back you a cool $14.99 (approx. £9).
If you're a truly stalwart PlayStation fan - and have therefore never picked up a Geometry Wars game - we admire your determinatination. However, in the interest of getting you up to speed, allow us to quickly describe the franchise. You'll zip around in a spaceship while shooting at geometrical baddies, and attempting to keep up your multiplier. In this particular entry, you'll be doing this extra-terrestrial extermination on three-dimensional planets. Fancy.
Will you be picking up Geometry Wars3: Dimensions next month, or has Resogun successfully scratched that itch? Let us know in the comments section below.

Geometry Wars has never been on any Playstation console before? I thought it's 1 of those games that's been everywhere. Maybe it's just b/c that screenshot looks like something I just played on Wii U and played on PS3 loooong ago (haven't had my caffeine fix yet so no names).
Anyway, more games are good.
Is there really no space between the game name and number?
@get2sammyb Real talk: the main reason I didn't include the title of the game in the headline was because I couldn't stand looking at it.
It's a total travesty!
Looking forward to this, as one of those "stalwart Playstation fans" I've never played Geometry Wars but heard lots of great things about it.
@k_andersen You did the right thing my man. I feel sick.
@k_andersen @get2sammyb - You had it w/o the space in a headline a month ago

And cut the guy some slack, he mentioned PS3 in the first sentence, man deserves a Gold Trophy in my book. A Platinum Trophy for Nicola for her herculean headline effort. I know, I know, on topic. I'll delete this later as usual.
Played the first one on Xbox. Skipped the second altogether. Might skip this also. RESOGUN is superior I believe and still the king of twin-stick shooters!
First and second games were both great on Xbox. I am looking forward to this.
I've always wanted to play it so I'll be buying it the moment it drops in price.
@rjejr Nah this has been an Xbox game for a while, although I do have faint memories of a release on the original Wii with motion controls. Or maybe I'm thinking of a similar game, idk. But I do know this has been an Xbox game for a while.
I was planning to get this on Xbox One, but, since there's a PS4 version, yet again I will be going with PlayStation over Xbox. Four months running and I still don't own a single game for my Xbox. Every time there's a game I want to buy I find out it's coming to PS4 too...
Sunset Overdrive should change that, finally...
Loved the first two games, especially the second but Resogun has filled that void for me. Maybe it will be free one day on PS+ Until then I have all geometry I need thanks.
