Those of you that wretch at the prospect of games made by teams that number in the tens rather than the thousands may want to divert your attention, as November’s big PlayStation Plus update is something of an indie extravaganza. Sony has seemingly released its promotional trailer for the latest update a little early, and it includes games such as The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Steamworld Dig.
You’ll get the aforementioned titles on the PlayStation 4, but seeing as they’re cross-buy compatible, you’ll land Vita versions as well. In fact, this is an outstanding week for handheld fans, as all six titles can be enjoyed in some capacity on the Japanese giant’s micro machine. The remainder of the lineup includes PlayStation 3 releases Frozen Synapse Prime and Luftrausers, as well as The Hungry Horde and Escape Plan on the Vita.
As there’s no official documentation available at the time of typing, we’re not entirely sure whether this offering will be mirrored in Europe, but we’ll be sure to update you as soon as we know. In the meantime, stay safe in the comments section below.

Boooooooooo
Gulp.
The thing I hate about this selection is that after all which has happened with the Drive Club Plus Edition, this is a bit of a kick in the teeth :/
So every moderately well reviewed indie game will be on PS+ before a single "AAA" title?
Not that I could care less because I put AAA in inverted commas there for a reason but Sony are really opening up themselves for attack.
Without wanting to be the archetypal apologist, I will say that, Hungry Horde aside as I haven't played it, these are all good games...
Yay, SteamWorld!
Yeah.. now it's really only indie games.. great..
Like I've probably stated before, I don't have anything against indie games AS LONG AS there are AAA-titles on offer as well. Now there are none, so I do have something against them. I also already own 1/3 of the offerings, so there's that (not Sony's fault but it kinda sucks anyways..)
Although Binding of Isaac looks pretty neat, will have to keep an eye out for that.
I still stand by my statement that PS+ quality has dropped.
This comment section...is gonna be worth watching (personally not fussed either way, games are games) Although, Sony, why you no release Driveclub PS+ edition with this update?
They are Sammy and they've mostly all reviewed well, that won't stop people from complaining that they're not AAA.
Me? I'm put off from ever buying another indie game on the PS store because I figure it'll just make it onto Plus a few months time.
Nothing for me. Only game that interests me is Escape Plan and I've had that for years. Was hoping this month, leading up to the Christmas rush, would be a knockout and convince me to stay on Plus with my subscription out next month. Really hope the European version is vastly different as, right now, I won't be renewing. Couldn't care if a game is indie, "AAA," rated good or garbage as I will try anything myself and not care if someone loves it or hates it. But of the, what 40(?) games given away this year only three have been worth it for me. Not worth the money anymore, especially as I don't online game and those three games would've cost less than £20 at retail.
Yeah, we all know how this ends. Already sitting back in the chair but with no popcorn
People are allowed to complain about indie games if they want to so let's not let this descend into people on here acting all high and mighty as if every indie game is gold. They're not. There's as many garbage indie games as there are AAA. Remember that before getting on your high horses people as more often than not those are the people who seem more backwards than the indie haters during the PS Plus arguments on here.
Well that's it for me. I'm officially selling my Vita as I have no games left to play that interest me.
Binding of Isaac was okay on PC, but it's not everyone's cup of tea and Steamworld Dig isn't up my alley I guess.
Oh well, better luck next time!
i'm good with these games, i mean they are free. thanks PS
My issue is that I already have a few of them :/
I am looking forward to Isaac though
Just Isaac and maybe escape plan for me. Overall a disappointing set of releases.
Awful, Sony don't care anymore obviously. Consoles already sold, give us any old tat they feel fit.
I was shocked at how good Steamworld Dig was. Thought about going in for the plat but some of those trophies are just... work. The game itself is incredible fun though. I highly recommend giving it an hour of your time to see if you like it.
Did someone mention high horse?
Did someone mention Sony doesn't care? Lol they're a business.
And this is just for the lolz:
I don't really care much for indie games myself, but that's probably because I've purposely avoided playing any of them, in fear of one of them being as good as (or even better than) an AAA title.
@Punished_Boss_84 I laughed a little more than I should at that first gif
@get2sammyb
I've noticed that the video with the North American line-up has gone private and there is still no PS Blog announcement from NA nor EU yet. What's going on?
@Sadodi Maybe, just maybe they might change there mind
I'm happy enough, I wanted to try Isaac, steamworld and escape plan. Im about to grab freedom wars now anyway so I suspect that'll keep me busy. Seems as though my Vita will be getting a lot of action. Unsure whether I'll be renewing my sub though.
@ZeD That was my thought as well. Maybe they have started to finally listen to the fans and tried one final time to see if the next month's offerings will satisfy them. But they probably saw immediately on the line-up video how long the dislike-bar was as well as the negative comments that it was a bad idea. So maybe they have a Plan B or something?
@Punished_Boss_84 Far too much time on your hands man.
Sony has some nerve to come up with this after the Drive Club debacle... I don't hate indie games, but lets be honest if PS+ had been like this on PS3 and wasn't mandatory for online, subscription rates would have been less than 10$ what they were
language -Tasuki-
I just don't understand how anyone can complain about a free game. Granted I downloaded a few free PS+ games and deleted them right after I tried them but come on they are free it's not like you actually paid $60 for them.
@Tasuki I agree. Free games are great but if you compare the last few months to just over a year ago, it is a little disappointing tbh
PS3 isn't even getting a PS3 game? Just two PSN games?
@Sadodi I think they just announced it too early.
@Tasuki
Is it a free game though? We pay for plus in order to qualify for the games, granted we pay for the PSN and not the games but the PSN doesn't perform as advertised all the time (See yesterday) and these games simply don't really make up for it.
I quite like the look of Binding of Issac but could we please have something more adult? Steamworld isn't a game I would play, like Spelunky (the single most overrated game I've ever played) and that godawful Stick it to the Man thing.
Can we have something with a bit of action? As in weaponry and explosions, not fairies and magic. Oh, and Frozen Synapse doesn't count due to arbitrary rules I just made up.
@Tasuki
Because they are not free, you have to pay a subscription for them...or at least that's how it was on PS3/Vita you paid for games and Sony knew they had to deliver with the games if they wanted people to keep subscribing.... now its like who cares if people like the games or not, they'll still subscribe for multiplayer so who cares..... I personally don't care about multiplayer so I'll rather keep getting the kind of games we used to get instead of getting party chat
And once again, people seem to be either forgetting or wilfully ignoring the fact that the PS4 hasn't even been out for a full year yet. Of course we weren't going to be getting big titles until about a year or so in. Pretty much all of the big games that have been given away via PS+ were given away at least a year, if not significantly more, after release.
These are not bad games, and at that price spread out across a year it's almost negligible. People need to stop complaining about free stuff. Honestly, MS users had to pay to use XBL for years when we didn't, and now that we have to pay some money to go towards the upkeep of the servers (and before people jump on it, apart from Driveclub, which isn't Sony's problem, the issues with PSN really have been a lot fewer and shorter than people make out), people have the gall to complain because they don't like the free stuff they're being given.
Just appreciate what you're being given guys!
I can't wait to play the binding of issac. The indie games on ps plus have been amazing. It's not all about massive budgets and realistic graphics. These games are a necessity for the next generation of game creators to show their skills. And we are the lucky ones to get to play them.
@SteveButler2210
What about the PS3/Vita then... there are still retail titles they could give for those and people there are still paying for games, not for the right to play online......
People are not complaining about free stuff, people are complaining because Sony convinced them to pay 50 a year with an excellent service then lowered the quality of the service without warning...... Yah I guess if you care about party chat and those stuff and that kind of things is worth 50 a year for you then you can see the games as a free bonus...... but lots of people still subscribe to PS+ primarily for the games
And like I always say when this come up and people defend Sony.... how many subscribers do you think PS+ would have if the deal was pay $50.00 for 2 indies a month and it was not mandatory for multiplayer.......
Great ! More indies ! *sarcasm
"PS4 hasn't even been out for a full year yet. Of course we weren't going to be getting big titles until about a year or so in."
That excuse doesn't work for PS3 and it's line up hasn't been any better than PS4's as of late.
There's no getting around the massive change in tact Sony has had with the PS Plus collection in recent months. But the fact that most of these games are cross play means owners of any one system get to play more of the games. And plus, indie equals small install size, so Vita owners will be able to fit more of them onto their cards.
Whilst I was hoping for a title more along the lines of MS's recent Games with Gold offerings, I don't own any of these so I'm pretty happy. I've wanted to play Escape Plan for a while and Blinding of Isaac looks like a must play too.
Wouldn't mind the PS4 version of Escape Plan But the rest not to keen on, oh well. Saying that Dust was brilliant last month
@Jonny
@DualWielding:
You get the PSN subscription for the multiplayer and Sony even stated that before the PS4 was out. The games are kind of a bonus. They dont have to give a free game every month y'know.
@rastamadeus Thanks, i guess?
It only takes a few moments to craft comments and I'm seriously not sitting back here enjoying you lot complain on a monthly basis.
This month is awesome for me. Maybe people should try playing the games they are given, I bet most will be pleasantly surprised.
@Tasuki yeah I know but they're always saying "we have to cater for everyone". Well I know a few people who would prefer something more action oriented and grown up than pixeljunk or terraria. I don't mind indie games, I don't even mind if it was ALL indie games on plus! Just as long as there's a bit more variety.
@Tasuki
Actually before PS4 launched Sony said that DriveClub would be free with PS+ subscription (and no, back then they did not say it was going to be just a demo) so people had a right to expect at least one retail title with the subscription
@Punished_Boss_84 So I get banned for a week for voicing an opinion and being "intentionally antagonistic", but this is acceptable is it @Tasuki @get2sammyb?
I must not be in the "inner circle".
Another dud month for me. Not a rogue like game fan at all.
But if you like em more power to you.
Inb4 "self entitled, you want triple a" etc etc.
@DualWielding: Yeah Driveclub is understandable but people complaing that every game is an indie or that every month the free games are junk is another thing.
Drive Club was the exception but the other games they don't have to give them to you. As I said your paying for the Multiplayer the free games are just a nice bonus.
@Johnnycide My thoughts entirely.
I like a good action or deep story driven game.
But who knows, theyll come I guess.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya: If I remember correctly the reason you got banned for a week was because you and another user was continuing to argue and fight after you both were told to knock it off several times. Unless I am missing something @Punished_Boss_84 is not doing anything wrong.
@Tasuki MP which doesn't work all the time.
If the MP worked all the time then what these games are would be irrelevant in my head, they'd just be some little bonus you can take or leave (I acknowledge other people would still complain but I think it would be quite a bite less). Sadly we get moments like yesterday and 2 weeks ago where we can't get what we paid for and these games simply don't make up for it in my eyes.
@Tasuki You missed the massive gif of spiderman saying "look at him and laugh"?
Why am I not surprised.
That is "antagonistic", but as youre buddies…
But whatever, You do what you need.
Is Frozen Synapse Prime cross buy? Really want that on Vita... Think I'll double-dip on SteamWorld too.
Would be nice if they got Driveclub out for the November update...
@Dodoo It's cross-buy, so you'll get the Vita version, too.
People keep saying "your paying for Multiplayer". That is only true if you have a PS4. If you only have a PS3 or Vita or both you are paying for the games.
It was obviously dumb on my part to re-up after the PS4 came out.
@get2sammyb Sweeeeeet, thanks!
Also apologies - you did mention that in the article!
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya: No I didn't miss that but I fail to see how that is similar to your situation.
An insider just told me that driveclub ps plus edition will launch with the whether update, late nov or early dec
@Splat - Don't think we're allowed to use the "3" word on this site anymore
I was expecting a better offering this month for 1 reason that nobody has brought up yet so might as well - last year on BF there was a PS+ sale and I'm pretty sure it went well as PSN was down for about 2 days. I know everyone here blames the PS4 releasing in the UK that day for crashing the servers but that shouldn't have brought down the US PSN for 2 days.
So, 1 year ago people buy a lot of 1 year PS+ subscriptions, therefore a lot of people have their year up this month, so Sony wants to entice those people w/ 2 games on the PS3 I don't think I've ever even read about, and I'm on this site constantly.
There should be plenty of PS3 games they could recycle that were only up for a month or so. I still get PS4 not getting much, but PS "Vita" TV just launced as well, you would think they would entice people w/ good Vita games for that.
I guess PS4 "pay to play" online is all that matters now? Even if there is another BF sale I won't renew for these.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya
Its a joke. Pointed at no one in this thread. "This is just for the lolz."
To be 100% fair - driveclub will be offered eventually so get over the fact that their servers suck - at least you didn't buy driveclub and then have to struggle by getting a refund. Also this is year 1 of PS4 - if we had PS+ when the PS3 launched day 1 - you would notice a lack of AAA titles to begin with - let alone AAA titles given away for a yearly charge of $50 roughly. People need to see the reason we got such great deals on PS3 was due to a larger library and not because Sony is super awesome at giving away AAA titles through PS+. Greedy people....
@Tasuki I got told that I was being "intentionally antagonistic".
That is being intentionally antagonistic isnt it?
No doubt it wont be…
Shocker.
No worries mate, you do what you want and ignore those you like, its cool.
If we are ignoring it thats cool too, means we can all do it without fear of repercussion.
@Splat
my subscription is expiring this month I'll still resubscribe because I have a backlog of PS3/Vita titles I've not been able to get to, but if this continues this would be the last year I subscribe
@Punished_Boss_84 Thats not my issue mate.
It was in reply to someone, and I have been picked up on that is all.
@AD-80 the reason we got awesome games on PS3 was because PS+ was not mandatory for online so Sony had to deliver with the games if they wanted people to subscribe
At this point Sony should just get rid of the IGC, I mean cleary NO ONE likes the free games so why not just charge us for online with no perks. Obviously thats what people want.
@AD-80 Greedy people? No I just think Sony now realises it has people over a barrel as they have to pay the subscription for online with PS4. To my knowledge the incentive for PS3 & Vita still remains the games offered each Month. I have nothing against indie games, a good game is a good game. However the offerings seem to get worse.
@3Above Or PS3 and Vita owners simply want the games they are paying for, the service offered to those owners IS for the games alone and not to play online.
@3Above I think some, just want triple a.
But most who arent overly happy, myself included, would like more varience in gametype.
Indie or no, they are often of a particular genre or style.
Id like a good deep story driven game or as close as one gets with a limited budget. I have not found one as yet, but thats me.
I only really care about the PS4 titles anymore and I already own Steamworld Dig, so this month is a bit of a let down.
I don't see why everyone is complaining this months line up costs more than the year subscription, i've stopped buying Indies since getting ps+ and saved so much money I wanted all of these so it's a bonus for me
What a crock of poo poo.
I don't mind receiving indies on the PS4 but there's so many games that Sony could bring to plus but haven't! 2012/13 was PSplus' prime.
we will begin to receive "good enough" games in time, why would you give away a product for free that still sells well. sony doesn't HAVE to give us anything, but they choose to and i will gratefully accept what they offer. i've said it before, and i'll say it again (not to anyone specific) most gamers are spoiled, they feel like they should get the very best games every month for free, because they want it. and if they don't get what they want they'll throw a tantrum.
I'm ok with the games on offer, and i enjoy indie titles...I'm in particular looking forward to the Binding of Isaac. It does however seem like the quality of PS3 offerings has dropped right off in recent months. The days of getting titles like DMC, Bioshock infinite, Mass Effect 3 and Farcry 3 are long past. Oh well.
@danny2kd I don't buy smaller/indie titles when they come out either, as I expect them to come to plus in time anyway.
Oh, the problems of first world nations. Sheesh.
Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion, but how do y'all know that you won't like a game if you haven't played it yet? Good thing I give my games a try--the three games I've sunk most of my time into in 2014 are indie games, all on Vita (and yes, I have a PS3 and PS4, and NONE of the three I would've bought/played if it weren't for PS+: Pixel Junk Monsters, Rainbow Moon, and Terraria.
@Munkyknuts it's what I do now also, I think some people just complain for the sake of it. I'm happy with Indies I prefer my proper games as a physical copy, plus with me having a vita I'm overly happy
Im not going to get into it again but the fact that people actually believe these games are free is absolutely ridiculous.
@eLarkos agreed
@SunnyShores Why don't sony have to give us anything?
Am I not paying for a premium service with added benefits?
Pretty sure there'd be an outrage if millions of PS3 and vita owners got nothing.
For the price of a single game a year, £40, I get access to 60+ games for the year. If even a tenth of those games are decent then it's money well spent. Sure if my subscription ends I lose the games, but for the price of a game why would I not continue playing the monthly IGC lottery? Amusingly, I've been paying for PS+ since before the instant games collection even existed which is Probably why I don't have entitlement issues when it comes to the IGC
Apart from outlast , it's been nearly a year of totally crap indie games! F-in hell
@Jazzer94 The quality is bound to be low year one. Year one was never going to stack up against the PS3 or Vita's recent Plus offerings. Im sure once PS4 has had time to build its library of games we'll start to get bigger and better Plus games.
@Rapidaz Thats your opinion...
@Mrskinner I just disagree with your opinion. It makes more sense right this second to justify the lack of AAA titles being a more plausible reason other than - "because Sony has us bent over because we are forced to buy PS+ to play online." Now if by the end of 2015 we don't have more AAA titles - I will start to agree with you more, but until then I just don't.
@WARDIE AND???
@jgrangervikings Ive tried a couple of them.
Didnt enjoy any sans Strider and Resogun.
I just do not enjoy rogue like or throwback art styles, they just dont do it for me.
I dont enjoy sim racers, such as moto gp, formula 1 etc.
So i dont buy them because I know I will not enjoy them, I have never enjoyed them, and even if they were free, I wouldnt play them.
The same applies here.
Obviously I only speak for myself in this.
Honestly with so much to play at the moment and all of other free indies I'm already I am not touching, I really don't care about this month's releases. Too much to do. Escape plan is the only one I will probably even get around to. We'll see.
Well i'm not really interested in any of these for my ps4 but seeing as call of duty is about to come out, that will be taking up my ps4 time anyway. Looking forward to playing some of these on my Vita though!
I don't have any of these games and I only have a Vita, and all of them are on Vita.
This is arguably the best week ever for me on PS Plus. I'm extremely happy.
This is the worst month of PS+. Ever.
Looking forward to play The binding of Isaac!
Ps. Anyone who hasn't played Steamworld Dig should definitly try it!
It has a surprisingly deep story and smooth gameplay which reminds me of Terraria. I prefer Steamworld over terraria though.
@Godsire- I agree with you
@MadchesterManc Haha, I also remember the days when I'd get one PSN game, a couple of Minis, and a theme. I thought it was worth it then, too...
That Sony Europe still haven't said "this is our lot this month" it makes me think they're either hastily arranging something - I read Knack was coming out this month - or they know the storm of hate that awaits them, rightly or wrongly.
@Punished_Boss_84 Wasn't actually meaning to post so apologies. Somehow a cut and paste text got sent to you off my phone, ha.
If you don't like us "lot" complaining then why read them? People pay for a product, they aren't satisfied, they are allowed to complain, whether people like the service themselves or not. Maybe if Sony listened to the general complaints these problems would stop? No, that won't ever happen.
For the record, if you read my first message (obviously not seeing as you dumped me in the "lot") you'd have seen I have zero problems with indies. If a game is good, it's good. Couldn't care if one person makes it or a hundred with a budget of millions. I complain as since the turn of the year there have been just three games I've liked (worth half the PS+ price) and I'm fed up or the lies and miscommunication about the service on Sony's end. But hey, feel free to complain some more about the complaining. The majority of complaining the last few PS+ updates on here have been about people complaining.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya The problem is there are people like you (wanting more variety) who get lumped in the complaining category and nobody bothers to read into it. Lost count of how many times I've wrote my grievances with PS+ yet it's still "you just complain about indies".
Oh, and to waddle into your antagonising argument with @Tasuki - the gif posted clearly at me,the high horse, I can see how it could have antagonised me so you're bang on. Fortunately I think gifs in an attempt at humour just screams trying too hard so ignore them.
I would say it's a kick in the nuts after what happened with DriveClub PS Plus but it's not really. I'd say there are bigger issues with PSN than the content being offered through PS Plus. Mostly the stability of the network. It's gotten bad enough that I'm content to just let my Plus subscription lapse, I don't do enough multiplayer for it to be worth it anyway. I'll re-join Plus later in the gen when some AAAs that I missed are offered through the membership.
steamworld dig got some great reviews, and i haven't played it yet, so
i'm happy with just that.
i don't really get why people are moaning, what do they expect for a few quid
a month?, shadow of mordor or something?.
Looks like the Ps2 spirit will never return to Sony....GO Microsoft, I guess...weep, weep...
@Rapidaz And, exactly what I said...
@SupaColeMan
It did look like those good times were returning though, and sales wise for Sony it might still work out that way. Unfortunately the higher ups there, however, have gotten so far up their own a$$es and the fanbase doesn't hold the company accountable for a damn thing so this first year has not been as good as it could've been. But I'll get the usual excuses 'you expect too much,' 'it's not Sony's fault,' and my favorite, 'no console ever has a good first year.'
@fozzie-mpd I think you miss the point. The PS3 and Vita PS+ Subscription is ONLY for the games each month. Sony have a massive back catalogue to choose from and throw together the above selection. The games given with the PS+ subscription has lacked in real quality compared to previously over the past few Months. That is what people are complaining about.
Poor.....could do better...
I feel as though some people would prefer "Knack" because it has more perceived monetary value to the likes of "The Binding of Issac" even though by all accounts on Metacritic Issac is the far better game.
This confuses me.....
Another free game at launch...can't complain without feeling like an ass, really. Don't own ANY of these IIRC anyway, so no real problem here. Plus I've been so busy with my Wii U and 3DS lately it hardly matters what Sony offers...I won't have time for it anyway.
@get2sammyb
I'd like something bigger, but December should mean a "Big" release, my biggest problem is that Sony haven't fixed the PS3 store bug yet. So I can't get the full value of my subscription. Especially as you can't get into the PS3 store from the PS4.
I added loads of PS4 indie games to the PS3 download list before I'd bought the PS4.
Only liked Velocity though so that was a waste of time.
@SteveButler2210 i dont know where you live steve , but in the uk the psn problems are as bad as people make out . I totaly agree that we shouldnt complain about free stuff but it is not free, we pay a subscription so we expect the service to work apart from the scheduled maintanence. At some point people will say enough is enough and stop paying . Brand loyalty only goes so far
@Jonny People don't like good things, they like things that look expensive. Like iPhones.
I have no time for plus game anyway
Usually only play a day for those, these new games for vita/ps4 are killing my time
@get2sammyb I got Resident Evil 2 and 3, Silent Hill, a few good minis (Trailblazer & Velocity being the most memorable for me) that i still play on the odd occasion, but I didn't think much of the PSN offerings back then though to be honest. The mini's tended to be better The added features like automatic downloading were a godsend then as I could get everything done while I was at work. Probably why I never really had as much of a problem with certain aspects of the Ps3 as others.
Only another £60 worth of games this month. Outrage.
You would think for my £3.33 I would get at least £150 worth of brand new AAA titles
@MoleZandor If a game isn't to your liking the cost (£60 or 60p) makes zero difference so let's not bother with that excuse.
Still amuses me that the most complaints are people complaining about the ones saying they're unhappy. Hardly anyone in here had said "no indies!" just they don't like the the games or aren't impressed with the titles. But hey, let's all bend over to Sony eh? Only thing worse than fanboys are brown nosers and PS+ defending doesn't half bring them out.
@rastamadeus It's impossible to cater for everyone, I personally would not want knack or thief, but that's what a lot of people keep mentioning. I would be happy paying £3.33 a month if there were no free games. There are always plenty of money off deals on, plus the other features and online play.
@rastamadeus Exactly. Its subjective.
Personal opinion is just that, personal.
Here though, you arent allowed one if it's not praise.
You either be "happy you are getting something you may not want for free" or shut up and be "happy you are getting something you may not want for free".
I dont enjoy rogue like or throwback art styles, I dont enjoy them, so Im not interested in trying any game of that style.
But Im just "self entitled, expecting triple a", etc etc.
@MoleZandor I personally loved Thief, long time series fan and enjoyed the game.
Id be very happy with it!
Maybe I missed it, but did anyone take into account that since the launch of the ps4 the ps+ subscribers increased by ... like a lot? Last time they made a statement about it, they said that that half the ps4 users had ps+ and suggested that before the launch of the ps4 there were less than a million ps+ subscibers.
Do people understand what these numbers mean at all? No? ok.
Every time Sony was giving away a game, it was was given to less than a million people out of like 70m ps3 and psvita owners. Because it was given to such a small number, it worked as a promotion of the game. People would try it out, recommend it to friends or make positive comments about it online, which leads to more sales for the game.
If now the game is being given to more than 4m people, which company would be willing to give their game for free to that many people? And if they did, how much money would they ask from Sony? The new subscribers also affect the free ps3 games, because they likely also have a ps3 and they are unlikely to purchase an AAA ps3 game if it's given to them for free.
Feel free to yell a Sony all you want. But how about we have some realistic expectations? At any rate, I still think they should give either Knack or Killzone (ps4) this month considering the whole mess with Drive Club. Other than that, it has been an overall good year for me, because as soon as ps subscribers rose, I knew we wouldn't get many AAA titles. I don't have a ps4 and still think it's worth it. Feel free to disagree, but consider the numbers from a business point, for a change.
@naruball Many good points.
@MoleZandor When you put it that way.... Ha! $60+ worth of games is hard to be mad about.
Please take the trolling else where. Thanks -Tasuki-
That was unnecessary. Next time just dont comment -Tasuki-
I'm kind of shocked at the amount of ingrate comments on here towards this set of games. The fact we who have PS+ get free games every month is a very nice bonus, and we still got those. DriveClub was an extra on top of an extra, and yeah there's no sugar coating just how bad they f'd that up alone for paying customers of the physical full game, but to get this butt hurt over a bonus freebie just reeks of being cheap, petty and being a modern era entitled child about things. If it happens it happens, if it doesn't, life goes on and more free crap will be delivered every month going forward. I'd think the amount of whining if anything could stop people from wanting to do added extras if this is the crap they're looking to catch if something malfunctions.
@maxy1977 Hmmm. Two comments and both are either crude insults or attacks on someone who gives up their spare time to moderate this site. What a winner you must be.
@Johnnycide: Dont worry he will be dealt with.
Such a shame I bought SteamWorld Dig a few weeks ago, but it was worth it (only 3.99 and my third copy of the game, I love it a lot).
