A life lesson for you: don’t mess with batty ladies that have crows circling around their head – you’ll only end up missing an eye. As part of the Golden Joysticks awards ceremony in London this week, CD Projekt Red released the opening cinematic for its upcoming PlayStation 4 role-playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The footage focuses on Geralt’s pursuit of lost love Yennefer, who has attempted to arrange a meeting with the silver haired star. However, when the protagonist arrives, he finds that the village that they were supposed to rendezvous at has been destroyed – and so begins your journey through the title’s fantasy world.

Want.
Wow, that horse didn't have a chance.
Never been into the cinematics, actual gameplay is what sells a game to me, can make cinematics look good, like golfclub, but gameplay and look, not so much
Genuinely scared of crows now.
That, ladies and gents, is a trailer.
I think this will be a lot better than shadow of mordor. While i liked it a lot, i couldnt help feel like the game should have been longer and the world a lot bigger. In my opinion it should have been size wise, similar to what witcher 3 seems to be.
Let's hope that the finished game does this amazing trailer justice
Can't wait for this, my most wanted game of 2015
This is the one and only stand out next-gen game for me. I just hope that the console version isn't too watered down from the PC version. From what I've heard you're gonna need a damn good gaming PC to run The Witcher 3 at max settings.
Would love to see some actual console game play instead of it always being PC game play.
@Subie98 lol.. you think? Man shadow of mordor was a good game and all don't get me wrong. .. but cd projekt red and the witcher series is on a wholeeeeee other level. Don't know if you've played the other ones but the witcher 2 especially was incredible. It was remade for 360 if you have one.
@WARDIE really? Personally there are quite a few for me, but you don't at least think dragon age inquisition will be a stand out game? I'm really banking on a few games coming out from this Tuesday coming until the end of Nov there's quite a few I'm looking forward to.
@mitcHELLspawn Yeah it's the only "next-gen" game that's got me really excited. I did have a few on my list, but given how alot of games these days tend to be a bit of a letdown, my list got a whole lot shorter.
I am looking forward to seeing some actual game play footage of the next installment of "Uncharted" but I don't want to build my hopes up and get carried away with the hype train. I've learnt my lesson from Destiny.
To answer your question about weather I think "Dragon Age Inquisition" will be a stand out game, im not sure. It definitely has the potential, but Im not a massive fan of the series, but I do have a few friends who loved the first Dragon Age but didn't like the second iteration as much. To be honest, I hope it is a stand out game and a massive hit as this generation hasn't really filled that genra with anything special... Yet.
@mitcHELLspawn never played the first two regrettably. No 360. I sold it almost as fast as i bought it some years ago. Is it ps2 or 3? Still have those
