At this point, we’re convinced that the inevitable documentary detailing the production of The Last Guardian will be better than any game that Team ICO actually manage to ship. As part of an interview with Japanese publication Famitsu, Sony Worldwide Studios gaffer Shuhei Yoshida reiterated that the long overdue adventure’s still on the way – but stopped short of sharing any specific details.
“Development couldn't be better,” he exclaimed when asked about the game, as translated by Kotaku. However, with a wry smile, he quickly added: “That might be a bit of an exaggeration. We continue to work diligently on the game, so please look forward to it.” There were rumours around E3 that the release had been cancelled, but that definitely doesn’t appear to be the case. That means, of course, that the wait goes on...

Whatever
Which is more overdue, this or Agent? Honestly can't remember. Really don't think this will have the same impact now as it might have done a few years ago.
I do wish they'd revive '8 Days' for PS4 though.
@Paranoimia What's more overdue is The Legend of Dragoon 2!
This? Vita themes, PSN down. Hatrick of crap.
I think at this point it's a safe bet that PS3 box is a non-starter
They should include a 30 minute "trials and tribulations" making of video w/ the game, good idea.
The Last Guardian is Guarding the game well
@Bad-MuthaAdebis you didn't want Vita themes?
@Shellybird27 after they stopped making first party AAA games, no.
im still pretty darn hyped for the last guardian. its crazy but true. i......... cant wait lol
I don't believe you. Did Yosp create his own version of "please understand"?
"That might be a bit of an exaggeration" - I didn't realise Yoshida was the master of understatement.
Unfortunately the delays on this game are just getting silly now. If it is still real, they need to at least show us something.
The last guardian is one of the most protracted and torturous developments I can recall, not just in gaming but all entertainment media. I'm still interested to see what eventually ends up appearing and if it sells enough to cover the looooong production time for it. I also still harbour some excitement for it releasing and seeing if it has the same charm and magic of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, or it ends up a sad and broken thing....the title screen flashing up and the beast seen in game images dragging itself painfully into view...looking me in eyes eyes as it begs to be put out of its misery like some twisted creepy pasta tale.
@drpepperdude100 Couldn't have said it better.
In other news the medievil reboot is also making great progress, siphon filter is getting announced this year, and gt7 will be released in 2015. Stay tuned for our crash/spyro/ape escape sequels announcements, and last but not least, god of war 4 will be getting a gameplay teaser in the spring. See? I can say completely false things too shu! Seriously though, until im physically holding the last guardian disc in my hand as i put in into my ps4, i dont believe him anymore.
