Hotly anticipated PlayStation Vita JRPG Tales of Hearts R is striding gallantly towards its 11th November and 14th November launch in North America and Europe respectively – but there’s one last piece of good news for Bandai Namco to share before the title sticks its sword into store shelves. Indeed, those of you not keen on playing on a small screen may be delighted to learn that the title will be fully compatible with the PlayStation TV, allowing you to experience the adventure on your 50-inch display with a DualShock 3 or DualShock 4.
Assuming that that’s convinced you to purchase the game, the publisher has also revealed a bunch of pre-order bonuses. If you register your interest in the title overseas, you’ll nab a collection of old-school costumes as an extra from participating retailers. Meanwhile, in Europe, physical copies will come with all of the above, in addition to entry into a prize draw to win one of five signed Japanese collector’s editions. Don’t worry if you want to buy digitally, though, as you’ll still get the bonus outfits. Pretty cool, huh?
Is this long overdue escapade on your wishlist? Will you be playing it on the Vita or the PlayStation TV? Regale your tale in the comments section below.

Supposedly it's a very solid, enjoyable Tales game with a damn good battle system. I'm looking forward to it at least.
Need to get mah vita fixed for this!!
I finds it very funny that Tales of Hearts R avatar will be available on Tales of Hearts R launch day but, The PS Vita doesn't support Avatar management.
@artemisthemp sounds about right to me, Sony +1
I dont have a Vita and I want a way to stream PS4 games to a 2nd TV in my house so I'm really looking forward to PS TV.
I've had this pre-ordered for Vita for at least half a year or so, ever since GameStop listed it. I hate buying games through GameStop- I get 20% off all my game purchases at Best Buy and just order online, not to mention free shipping on any order as an elite member, but this particular game is only getting a physical release at GameStop, so I had no other choice.
Nice!
Does Pushsquare have a US correspondent? We get the PS TV a month before you and Ild like to read a good review of one getting put thru its paces. Are you guys planning on reviewing some of the playable Vita games on it? I know Freedom Wars is supposed to work, but that doest mean it will work well. Same with all the others on the official list, not that I expect you to re-review them all, just some of the better well know ones perhaps?
@rjejr Is freedom wars already out on vita in EU/US?
A review on this would be nice as @rjejr said.
@Sanquine Oct 28th for us
PlayStation TV is very interesting to me. It's great it's getting games like this, but unless Sony figures out a way to patch the Vita versions of Uncharted, LBP, Gravity Rush, etc., I will not be buying this micro-console. It's as simple as that
And drop the damn memory card prices already!!
I'll likely get this game at some point, but I'll happily play it on my Vita.
Just started up this game on my PSTV here on Dec.27, 2022 lol. Looking forward to it!
