Fact: the Uncharted Movie has been a source of speculation since we started this website over five years ago. Currently in the capable hands of Identity Thief director Seth Gordon, the project has been passed from pillar to post for what feels like an eternity. Fortunately, if you’re desperate for a taste of Nathan Drake on the silver screen, this live action adaptation of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune’s opening is top notch.
Granted, it may not be in English, but we reckon that the two leads look the part, and have their alter-egos’ mannerisms nailed, too. The editing's also pretty decent – we especially like the transition from the Sir Francis Drake quote to the boat scene. Would you watch a full length film like this? Nathan Fillion to play Nate Drake.
It can ONLY be Fillion!
That was pretty good. I might have enjoyed it more in english, though lol
Cool.
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya the film would obviously be terrible so I'd love someone like Bruce Campbell or nicholas cage to ruin it further
I'm no longer exited to watch this honestly, but I'll probably end up seeing it anyways, just because it's Uncharted related and produced by Naughty Dog.
Looks awesome ha-ha, I'd watch that. With some better SFX, hells yeah
@ToOGoodOfAPlaya I only even clicked on this article to post exactly what you posted. So glad that made it as the first comment!
Hmmm. Needs more Michael Bay. I jk.
I don't see myself watching it. This version of Nate is too much of a jock. Nate is more of an average build, smart-ass, ladies-man. The lead character has to fit the game Nate a lot more in my opinion. Overall, they did a pretty good job.
