Sony has been allowing you to pre-load digital purchases from the PlayStation Store for a little while now, but we suppose that very few games are bigger than Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. As such, the platform holder has taken to the PlayStation Blog to confirm that you can start downloading Activision’s forthcoming first-person shooter right now on the PlayStation 4 in North America.
The download will begin automatically if you have ‘auto-download’ enabled in your system settings, but you can force the file to start copying to your hard drive by navigating to the appropriate page on the PlayStation Store and manually selecting the download button. The game will be available to play from 12:00AM ET on 3rd November, as part of the title’s Day Zero promotion.
Don’t worry if you’ve purchased the PlayStation 3 version, as you’ll be able to grab that from 10:30AM PT on 1st November from the PlayStation Store as well. All in all, you should be ready to go prior to the title’s first full day of Double XP. Oh, and don’t forget that if you buy this digitally, it’s fully cross-buy compatible, so you’ll be able to play it on both your PS4 and PS3. Pretty unprecedented, huh?

Hmmm....the Call of duty brand and Doritos do fit each other perfectly;)
SO Excited for this! i'm glad it pre downloads so now i dont have to wait forever on the 3rd. HELL YES!
Isn't this a One exclusive?
Never thought I'd say this, but I am actually excited to see this game. Titanfall was my biggest surprise of 2014, cause I'm normally not into FPSs anymore, and CoD seems to follow the same trend. The smaller arenas and frantic gameplay remind me of the good ol UT days and I am looking forward to getting my butt kicked by 13 year olds who claim to have slept with my wife, mother or sister...or all three of them. I'll be to busy playing CoD multiplayer to ask my wife, mom and sis about it, so things work out in the end anyway.
I'm more of the kind of person who has wine while playing COD.
I didn't realize this was out next week, weird. Would consider buying it, but the season pass costs almost as much as the game itself, so I'll pass for now at least.
I'll have to wait for my disc to turn up. I never really understand why games don't all launch on a Friday globally. Nevermind.
