Telltale Games, you’re spoiling us. Not content with the premiere of Tales from the Borderlands on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 this week, the company has revealed that the first part in its Game of Thrones series will debut on 2nd December in North America and 3rd December in Europe on Sony’s next-gen machine. PS3 owners will be able to nab the first episode – named ‘Iron from Ice’ – from 9th December.
For those out of the loop, this six instalment series is shaping up to be something very special indeed. The story will follow House Forrester from the popular HBO show, and will plot the return of characters such as Cersei Lannister and Tyrion Lannister. Incredibly, the developer has managed to convince many of the original actors to lend their larynxes to the project, suggesting that it’s going to be a pretty high budget affair.
You can check out the trailer for the first episode down below. There’s no word on a price for this just yet, but we have a sneaking suspicion that it will command a premium compared to the developer’s previous output. Either way, we daresay that this is going to sell like gangbusters when it hits the PlayStation Store.

YES!!!
So both Borderlands and Game Of Thrones on the same day for us in Europe? Nice. Oh, has anyone looked at the Borderlands trophies? Two in episode two have been got by some people, chapters one and five. Bit strange.
Only a recent Game of Thrones fan, but I still cannot wait for this. Not really played anything by Telltale before, so for me this is the perfect introduction to them.
I haven't seen the show yet, so not sure if this game is for existing fans or a self-contained storyline.
Was expecting this until next year, figured the first ep would drop the same week as the premier of Season 5. Getting it this soon is a nice surprise. I'm a big Game of Thrones and a Telltale Games fan so I've been looking forward to it since it was announced. Curious to see what it'll cost, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.
