It may well have been severely supply constrained at launch, but the PlayStation 4 has already passed the one million sales milestone in Germany, leaving its competitors in the dust. According to SCEE, the number was crossed on 21st October, putting its next-gen platform in “pole position”. Given the region, we reckon that the racing analogy works well.
“The impressive number underlines once again the PS4′s enormous popularity among the gaming community less than a year after the official launch,” a press release said. The platform holder also passed this important target in the UK earlier in the year, with its dominance in Europe contributing heavily to the system’s global 10 million units sold tally.
