Japan hasn’t yet embraced the PlayStation 4 to the degree that we’d all like, but there are a stream of niche releases starting to make their way to the next-gen machine. Also due out on the PlayStation 3 next year, Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho is a photography simulator, which will see you capturing daily life in the open world island of Yumegashima.
Of course, while you’ll be spending the majority of your time snapping everyday activities, D3 Publisher couldn’t resist sprinkling a little weirdness into the mix, and thus you’ll also need to get shots of students’ panties by going prone. Don’t get caught, though, as the local constabulary don’t take too kindly to that sort of thing. Spoil sports...

@idabrigs710
I doubt Sony has anything to do with this game
@idabrigs710 Are you for real?
@idabrigs710 Sony has nothing to do with this game. Troll elsewhere, or enjoy your ban. You've been warned.
Did you know that you cannot disable the camera sound on a phone in Japan? Just like the 3DS. Japan, never change!
D3 should include a second screen feature using the Vita so then you have to physically lie on the floor yourself to get some professional shots of those virtual panties. That's what next-gen is all about
@Bad-MuthaAdebis
Is this the type of game that um gets you in the ahem jolly Christmas spirits?
As someone who has lived in Japan for 10+ years, this really is just the tip of the iceberg. It's funny though how Japan (compared to the "west") is both over-sexed and de-sexualized at the same time.
Ah Japanese oddness....I had forgotten how strange a folk they can be until I played Yakuza 3(or four, I forget) and it reminded me of my days of watching Anime, particularly Manga. The idea of a photography simulator game actually appeals to me...shame the main attention it's getting is for the creepy/odd voyeuristic panty snapping....Yakuza had a superhero with a thing for underpants and ping pong against bikini wearing overly jiggly girls but it wasn't what got focused on the most.
The sexual tendencies of the Japanese is a long deep and winding rabbit hole to go down into...anyone disturbed by the up skirt photos in this really shouldn't look into how strange it can all get.
@hi_drnick I know a fair bit about the sexual oddness of the Japanese as well... And get what you mean about it. Strange kinks and fetishes that can make a mind fizzle, but also censorship and giving an outward appearance of calm correctness and serenity.
Taking pictures of panties is very nasty...
Sounds like a new Olympic sports.
Yep, it's official......Japenese gamers are frickin' weird.
@BLPs For the same reason it's legal to release games in which you kill people, but that wouldn't be advisable in real life. I find games like this weird and a bit creepy, but some people enjoy them and there's nothing wrong with that as long as they aren't replicating these actions in real life.
@get2sammyb
So it's OK to call the police "spoil sports" if they stop the game's character's lewd and what, in the most countries, would be illegal behaviour, but idabrigs710 can'tuse the word **** because it might offend some of your visitors?!
I like pushsquare but this sort of moral double standard doesn't add any credibility to the site.
Just my opinion of course.
@Godsire- personally I think gamers who play simulation as a goat is more weird.
@Pipr The bit in the article was a joke, clearly.
