It’s a good thing that The Order: 1886’s premise is so strong, because Sony’s done a pretty atrocious job of selling Ready at Dawn’s inaugural PlayStation 4 project so far. This brand new video produced by Sony Japan attempts to spoof a BBC News broadcast – but ends up looking like a high school student’s media studies coursework instead.
We get what the platform holder’s going for here, but the execution is awful. For starters, no Brit that we’ve ever met talks like that scientist. Secondly, the events in the forthcoming historical foray seem pretty cataclysmic – why wouldn’t the media from the same universe be aware of the existence of Lycans a mere 100 years later? Terrible.

Oh dear.
I quite liked it, in a stupid tongue in cheek kind of way. It's better than the weird bass/epilepsy inducing flash cuts that dominate movie and games trailers these days.

@Punished_Boss_84 It's been live all day... But, yeah, looks like it just got pulled.
Will the gaming media ever like anything to do about this game, hmm seems not
I'm still confused why entire articles (not here) are written basically telling people don't buy this game. Where were they pre destiny, watchdogs, MCC, etc launch? Expectations are so low I think this game will actually benefit from the negative press by actually being a solid experience.
Missed it. ):
@Dual-shock-spok I think it's partly because The Order's trailers and conference appearances have been pretty poor. When you compare what we've seen to what we saw from the likes of Destiny and Watch Dogs — both of which had a slew of good trailers or gameplay demos — it gets quite hard to hype up The Order.
We've already played the game a few times here at Push Square, and while we're quite divided on what we think of the game, we're still hoping that this is just a case of bad marketing, and the finished product will turn out good.
I got to see this earlier today and its not great. The Japanese Gravity Rush commercial with the apples was awesome but this....isnt. Has nothing to do with the game, its just a odd choice for tv spot. Im still buying the game btw.
Played a 40min demo in Las Vegas and loved it Pre ordered it /Done
Uhmmm...maybe because lycans are assumed to be extinct a 100 years later, or if not then they just dont want to be found.
