The next time you're trying to convince your friends to buy a PlayStation Vita, and they simply refuse to be swayed by Freedom Wars, perhaps point them in the direction of Resident: Revelations 2. Indeed, Sony's Director of Third Party Production Gio Corsi announced that the game will be coming to the potent portable at today's PlayStation Experience keynote.
Apart from the title's existence, very few details were actually confirmed, so its unclear if it will release in its planned episodic format, or wether we'll have to wait for the full version planned to launch later on. At any rate, this is a very nice addition to the handheld's library. Are you excited to see Resident Evil: Revelations 2 hitting the Vita? Eat some green herbs in the comments section below.

Strange move, from 3DS to Vita, must have something to do with the agreement on SFV.
Vita hype!
@ferrers405 That's what I was thinking too. 3DS version outsold all other versions, yet it's the one platform being left out.
At least it's coming to a handheld.
Great news! This should be coming to 3DS and Wii U though.
I think I'll be content with the PS4 version, good to know it'll be on Vita if I ever to get it for a handheld though.
wasn't going to get it...then they announce it for this and i have to get it now
Long live Vita!!!
@ferrers405 They're doing what Xbox did, and I hope these are timed exclusives like it and not permanent. Even if, there's still PC.
OMG YESSSS YESSSSSSSSS VITA VERSION FTW!!!!!! THANK YOU CAPCOM OMG YESSSSSS head explodes
While it's great the Vita is getting some love, forgive me if Capcom releasing (what will be) a mediocre title while they continue to destroy a once great franchise, doesn't get me too excited.
The Vita does need the games, though.
Interesting. I'm not one who gets bent out of shape when third-party games skip the Wii U, but the fact that this game is coming to the Vita of all things (which I happily own) seems weird to me.
Let us hope this is not going to be vaporware like the resident evil for psp...
I'd be interested if it weren't already getting a retail PS4 version.
Good to know for people with Vitas though.
The unlikely announcement PS4 didn't have.
@Bad-MuthaAdebis
I agree. The first game was mediocre garbage. Capcom just doesn't learn.
Now I want SF5 on Vita.
Bye we are talking about RE R2 why the pic is from first?
If Sony is handling this port, I dunno what to expect as far as graphical downgrade and framerate. I hope Sony's owned studio will get it right...
