Dante’s always been a bit of a di—er, dislikeable fellow, but he was especially obnoxious in DmC: Devil May Cry. It’s great to know, then, that the forthcoming DmC: Definitive Edition on the PlayStation 4 will harness the next-gen system’s power to make him even more irritating than ever before. Just look at that grin in 1080p – it makes us want to slash our wrists and bathe them in salt water. At least the music’s kind of cathartic.

That face! I want to slap it... is that a bad thing? I never slap people.
YASSSSSSS
The last 10 seconds. Dat virgil skin for DMC4. Yush pls!
Makes me appreciate and admire Bayonetta 2 even more, also from a technical point of view.
I refused to buy DmC, like the self entitled di...err, dislikeable fellow I am...but when it came with PS+ I played it anyway, and quite frankly enjoyed the heck out of it. The bad framerate was a bit of a letdown tho, and therefore I'm glad they're re-releasing. But I will NEVER pick this up at full price. Halo MCC has paved the path of how content rich remakes are supposed to be and it's total BS this isn't coming bundled with part 4, or even 1 to 4. Although the games might differ, it's Capcom who own the rights. This is yet again Capcoms why of milking us gamers dry, without ever "feeding the cow" properly... Our milk will dry up, and so will your revenue even further. This game will be $27,50 even before it's released, I'm telling ya!
Um, the censors not even noticeable untill you look closely.
One of my all-time favourite games. Haters be damned.
They should have called it -
DmC: The Reboot Remastered
Wait, I already used that joke w/ the definitve edition of the reboot of Tomb Raider remastered on PS4, didn't I?
Guess I ran out of jokes before Sony ran of out of PS3 reboots to remaster.
Used to hate new dante
But the battle is the best ever happen in action stylist game
Meh. I still haven't played the PS Plus version I got in like January.
And DMC4 remastered seems like an awful idea, considering it was EARLY PS3 era and didn't push s*** technically.
@RaymanFan2 it isn't devil may cry 4 remastered it's DmC late ps3 era.
An odd choice for capcom the original release recieved it's fair share of hate from the fans I happened to love it, it is a really fun game
Day 1 buy for me my wife beat the ps3 version so now itsy turn to beat on ps4.
Looks really cool, I've never played a DMC game.
@Diddy_kong I dislike this game. so fans be damned!
@ReigningSemtex No, it's both. Right at the end you'll see DMC4 Special Edition, and it's been formally announced.
I don't know but I have never enjoyed the DmC series. Tried as I might I just couldn't get into them. Funny how it started as a version of Resident Evil 4.
I loved the original games but I couldn't get into DMC at all when I tried it....maybe it wasn't as good, maybe it was Dante looking like a d*ck or maybe I've just moved on from that kind of game.
I loved playing DmC, glad it's getting a definitive re-release. I never touched the DLC and turbo mode looks sick as hell. The graphics were great and the different fighting styles were fun to pull off.
I got the trilogy since I wanted to play the original Devil May Cry before experiencing Bayonetta, since Kamiya made both.
But nowadays I prefer the real deal instead of Capcom's shadows: Bayonetta, The Evil Within, and next year Mighty Number 9.
I liked DmC a lot (though not the Vergil DLC), but after I was done with it on the 360, I didn't really see much of a reason to play it again, and I even passed up the PS+ deal. Now, though, I'm actually interested in picking it up again for PS4. Not sure why.
DMC still retained the "feel" of DMC series! People had a heart attack because new Dante's hair was black, now it'll have all the skins, so give it a try. I'm buying!! Love DMC! I've played every installment. I'll get both remasters, very entertaining games. Lots of stylish action and a nice spin on the story.
