Sony’s third-party production team is really starting to throw its weight around right now. The division – fronted by LucasArts alumni Gio Corsi – was established as a means for the platform holder to help external developers bring their titles to PlayStation platforms, and is currently one of the most exciting teams within the company. It’s responsible for Yakuza 5 getting localised, for example, and Suikoden finally making its way to the PlayStation 3 and Vita.
It’s also collaborating with Capcom to bring the brilliant Ultra Street Fighter IV to the PlayStation 4 next spring. While this announcement was understandably overshadowed by the confirmation of Street Fighter V, this is still arguably one of the greatest fighting games ever made, and it should keep you occupied until its successor punches onto the next-gen platform. You can check out the port’s first trailer below.

Aren't there already like 50 versions of Street Fighter IV out already?
@Godsire- Haha! Yup!
Man they have milked Street fighter 4 dry. Right now remind me years down the line when they release ps5 that they will probably port the 'hyper, mega, ultra definitive arcade super Street fighter 5 to ps5.
The next version of Street Fighter 5 will obviously be on both Xbox and PlayStation. Its a "different" game by adding a mega, ultra, elite, ultimate to its title.
There are always ways to bullsh*t out of an exclusivity deal.
Does anyone know if "all costumes" include the newly released summer vacation pack and the upcoming animal costume packs ? I'm looking around but can't find the answer ...
@AyeHaley arent Sony helping Capcom with the development of 5 tho? Would they be able to bring 5 Ultra over to xbox if thats the case?
@AyeHaley like back in the day when snes got SF2, genesis got champion edition, snes got turbo, etc etc lol. The only loop here is that Sony is somehow funding the making of SFV. Though nothing says they'll fund SUPER,HYPER,ULTRA , EXTREME SFV lol. Either way I'm that fan that would have ran out to get a console for a game so I'm just happy I don't have to do that (yet )
@SuperSilverback yeah Sony is funding SFV though not sure of all the little details. It'll be intresting to see just how much of SFV is actually Sony's if that's even possible. Wonder if and when the game hits Xbone , if it'll have sone kind of Sony logo lol .
Maybe "funding" is the wrong word, but Sony is most definatly helping in the development of SFV so there's bound to be some funds tied to it.
I'll just wait for V, thanks.
@Bad-MuthaAdebis Same
Held off on the PS3 version because I figured this would happen. SF V is a ways off so USF IV will be a fun game to play in the meantime.
why they announced Street Fighter 4 & Street Fighter 5 to PS4 at the same time?
If SF5 is that far off, they should have announce it later.
Wow, I can't believe this actually happened. When I said USF4 would go to PS4, I meant it as a joke. I should stop giving Ono ideas.
Seriously though, I'll probably get USF4 on PS3 instead, since my friends have it on PS3, and I haven't experienced SF4 on PS3 yet (I had it for my Xbox before it broke). My PS4 fighting fix can wait until SFV and Tekken 7. I still have Tekken Tag 2, and I play it semi-regularly, so no worries.
@whywai88
It's probably a late 2016 game at the earliest, but I'm not against companies announcing a game early. Lets me know there's at least something to look forward to rather than going on blind faith.
Day one purchase for me. This was the one game I was hopeing would be remake for the PS4
