As has been the source of speculation for several weeks now, DriveClub is bursting onto the Japanese racing scene – and judging by this video, proceedings are about to get a little Initial D. Just as with SEGA's adaptation of the popular manga series, this clip shows a Corvette C6 drifting down a hill in the driving rain. Ooo-er.
We'll apparently be getting a proper look at this point-to-point course inspired by Nakasendo soon, but while you wait for that, we'll remind you that all of the PlayStation 4 racer's post-release tracks will be free to download. You'll need to stump up a little extra if you want single player events based on them, but we reckon that that's a fair trade.

DriveClub is BRILLIANT Cool about this being free to
I traded my DC ages ago as I was sick of the online issues, mainly connection and aggressive people purposely pushing/crashing into each other. I was thinking about picking it back up again as I've heard its running alot better now, but I think I'll wait for the PlayStation Plus edition before parting with my money. I just hope they've added the option for private races otherwise I won't bother.
I love this game for its single player! Its like taking a road trip through another country.
Almost pocked this up last week, but decided I will be holding off supporting them until the ps plus edition releases. On that day I will buy the entire game. I understand they have been working non stop on the game, and it's been vastly improved, and everyone with it says it's brilliant, but I'm tired of broken games. Halo Mcc was the last straw for me, I'm no longer supporting a game until it's stable and properly polished.
Great stuff
i'd say anyone who has read what type of game it is,and what features it has - will be happy with their purchase,if tempted to get it.Also, gameplay is more challenging than i expected is which a big plus, hyper class with kers/drs,heavy precipitation at night, and manual gears -i'm not ready.
