Following its debut on the Xbox One late last year, it seems that Limbo will step out of the shadows on the PlayStation 4 soon, too. European ratings board PEGI has submitted a listing for Danish developer Playdead's macabre adventure, which was filed on 1st January. It's rare that these classifications are submitted by mistake, so expect to find yourself attempting to escape from that giant spider again soon.
We really liked this dark and dangerous affair when it deployed on the PlayStation 3 a couple of years ago, describing it as an "absolutely essential experience". Of course, whether this will be worth revisiting on Sony's next-gen hardware will depend entirely upon the improvements – and whether you can stomach another three hours in the company of its harrowing world. And so, another year of ports begins.
Back to my WiiU it is for me!
@readyletsgo Did you watch this? https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2015/01/these_are_some_of_the_big_ps4_exclusives_youll_be_playing_in_2015
Just because a port of Limbo's been being brought to the PS4, doesn't mean that there's nothing new in the pipeline.
@get2sammyb ah I know. Just a hell of a lot of ports incomin. Roll on The Order and Bloodborne.
Should be free if we have the PS3 or Vita version? I think I got it on PS3 as part of Plus, then the Vita version was released and it was free for me. Too bad this 3 was cross buy is not available on all games.
This game has some intense thinking.................but I beat it
I gave this game a serious go when it first came out, but I could never really get into it. Still, can't argue with that art style!
I always wanted to try this game, I wonder if this version will be enhanced in any way ?
Still have not played this. Was considering picking it up on Xbox One but maybe I will wait for a PS4 release.
I played on the PS3 and Vita and surely I will play on the pS4, great game!
I hope this is cross-buy with PS3. I got this a long time ago on PS3, but never actually played it. This would give a good reason to finally get around to it.
Talking of "ports/remasters" is there any truth to a Borderlands Remastered coming to PS4?, as for the game interested i never had the PS3 and have never played this game, so depending on price I might pick it up
