Re-releases are all the rage right now, but this one is so low-profile that we'd forgotten it was even happening in the first place. PSU reports that Best Buy has slapped a 21st April release date on Payday 2: Crimewave Edition, the PlayStation 4 update of Overkill Software's acclaimed robbery simulator. That's a Tuesday so could be legit, but we'll reach out to the developer for more details.
The product listing declares that this enhanced edition will come with a haul of on-board DLC, as well as new masks, weapon mods, and more. It'll also apparently run in 1080p on Sony's next-gen super machine, which means that you'll finally be able to see the fear in people's eyes as you hold up their lowly grocery stores. That went a bit dark, huh?

Oh great, I enjoy playing Payday on PS3. Haven't played in over a year though, so I'll be getting this for PS4
Watch some game play off it and it looks alright, not a re-release that I have to buy straight away, but I may get it when it's cheap.
Payday on PS3/PC was one of my favorite coop shooters. I never ended up getting Payday 2 since it was so late on PS3... but this will easily be a day 1 for me and my friends
EDIT: Fun story, way back when Payday 1 came out, I asked the devs on Twitter to port it to Vita.. they said if I pay for the project they'd do it.... so you can all blame me for there not being a Vita port!

Never played payday before but i have been interested since I loved left for dead. If this.gets the support and updates that the steam version has I would definitely pick this up.
Hummm no thanks.
I thought I would love this on ps3 but it was just ok.
Lots of potential here though. Needs more variety
If the support is as terrible as it was last gen this is going to suck.
Over a year to update the 360 and the PS3 version is still 30 or so patches behind the PC.
Terrible support.
