PlayStation's fairly recently established Third-Party Productions division may be one of the platform holder's most ingenious ideas in the past five years, but we'll have more on that in a future article. Either way, the fruits of its labour are really starting to show right now, with the likes of Ultra Street Fighter IV coming to the PlayStation 4, and Resident Evil Revelations 2 on the way to the Vita.
While you already know all of this, though, the division's fearless leader Gio Corsi has taken to the PlayStation Blog in order to explain that Sony – not Capcom – will be publishing both titles. "[These games are coming] thanks to a double partnership between Capcom and SCEA's Third-Party Production," he said. This means that you should expect an orange diamond on each title's box.
There's no specific release date for either game, but both are due out in the spring. Furthermore, there's very little word on how Claire Redfield's undead affair will, er, fare on Sony's smaller format, though it sounds like Ultra Street Fighter IV will actually live up to its name, with practically every piece of content deployed thus far crammed into its case. Are you excited for either of these? Throw a fireball in the comments section below.

an orange diamond? I guess that's their way of showing that sony published them
Well they must bring Street Fighter to Vita as well.
No thanks, I'll wait for the new SF and Resi 6
Gio Intercoursey keeps on delivering.
Ultra Street Fighter IV feels kind of redundant when V is right around the corner it seems. I suppose it's Capcom's way of squeezing another 30-40 bucks out of folks one last time? Then again, if it has every single piece of content IV has ever had, costumes and all, it may be an excellent deal for those who haven't taken the plunge.
Yay more milking of Street Fighter, I want SF V but I'll be waiting a few years for Super or and Ultra update.
sfv is still a ways off. its not like its coming out in 4 months or something. i dont think i can justify getting it for ps4 when i already have it on ps3. the vita on the other hand! i always wondered why it wasnt released for the vita. id much rather be playing usf4 on my vita than sfxt.
@FullbringIchigo
That's the SCE logo, the orange diamond they were talking about.
@Chouzetsu No it's a Gem.
I'm looking forward to both games but with USF IV looking like it'll be out around the same time as Mortal Kombat X, I may have to give it a miss. Definitely getting Resident Evil: Revelations 2 but will be waiting for the physical copy of the PS4 version.
Milking the Street Fighter series dry & releasing another awful RE: Revealtions game.....ugh.
I am excited for the RE remake & RE0 (Oh it's coming). Now get to remastering RE 2 already! And give us a revamped Dino Crisis & Omimusha!
Il wait for it for the vita, cause I am playing it on the ps3. But can't wait for SFV for the ps4 (new Streetie new gen)
