Brain freeze

If you thought that Mortal Kombat X's fatalities were gruesome, then know that there'll be some other decapitation methods in your chosen brawler's combat arsenal. As promised earlier in the week, NetherRealm Studios has announced that brutalities will be making a return in its forthcoming fighter – and they look absolutely ridiculous.

GameSpot has carefully cut a clip showing off all of the finishers so far, including one where Raiden teleports inside his foe's body – and makes them explode. We reckon that the one where Quan Chi stands in a shower of blood is probably the best, though, simply because of how utterly stupid it looks. Are you on board for some cartoon violence?
