And so marks the end of another long week. With the weather looking dismal – certainly in our neck of the woods, at least – video games seem like the perfect antidote for your winter blues. The big question is: what will you be playing this time around? Fortunately, we have a column designed to get to the bottom of just that.

I'll be whipping out my helmet and elbow pads and taking a trip to Olliwood this weekend, as I kickflip my way through OlliOlli 2. I'm not allowed to say too much about this just yet, but you can look for a review next week.

It's more family fun with Dead or Alive 5: Last Round for me this weekend [Weirdest family game ever – Ed], as I attempt to once again batter inexperienced relatives with no shame whatsoever. However, I think that I'm also going to crack out The Order: 1886, just to see them gaze in wonder. The reactions of those who hardly ever touch games should, in theory, be priceless.

With March's oncoming review onslaught, it's time for some personal gaming time. I'm plodding along through Tales of Hearts R with my pop band in tow – oh, the wonders of DLC. I also want to play Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires this weekend, but the mailman has yet to deliver.

After putting quite a bit of time into Evolve of late, I've become a little disillusioned with the experience. As the skill level of players using the monsters has reached such a high level, playing with randoms as the hunters pretty much always results in failure. As a result, I'm hanging up my hunting gear – for now – to spend some time over this weekend trying to finish Dying Light instead.

Not really too much gaming on the horizon this weekend unfortunately. On the bright side, there will be a lot of House of Cards.

With midterms smack-dab in the middle of next week, I must devote all of my energy to a couple of papers and tests that will be due before I see the light of spring break. However, to help maintain my sanity until then, I'll be playing and eventually reviewing Shadow of Mordor's The Bright Lord DLC. Will it live up to the core game's content and make up for its lame final boss? Time to trek to Mordor and find out...

This weekend, amid ongoing wedding planning, I'll be focusing my time on The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D mostly. If I've got a bit more time, I'll try to finish Sniper Elite 3 and Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark.

This weekend I'll be doing my duty as a Push Square scribe and catching up on some of the PlayStation classics that I skipped. Currently, that's Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy and the first God of War [How have you not already played these, Ryan? – Ed]. Hopefully I won't be burned at the stake for this.
We're done gabbing, so now it's your turn. What are you playing this weekend, y'all? Open those pie holes and let us know in the comments section below.

I'll be playing Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires. I picked it up at launch and am quite enjoying it. The CAW is great, and I've had a surprising amount of fun with it.
I'll also be playing some Atelier: Escha and Logy.
Evolve, may open my copy of unity now I have the week of work
Kicking zombie heads in Dying Light, sticking C4 to rampaging elephants Farcry 4
Resident Evil Revelations 2
inFamous First Light
Shadow of Mordor
Uncharted 3
Rayman Legends
Plants vs. Zombies on Vita all weekend long Oh and maybe some Borderlands 2 also on Vita mixed in there as well.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
With a bit of The Order 1886, as it's actually been a quality experience thus far.
Dying Light is the main game I'm working on. my wife and I also started lbp3 last night.
Metro Redux, Revelations 2 and the occasional Diablo 3 rift run
I'm into Uncharted: Golden Abyss and enjoying it as it's the only one in the series I hadn't played. I'm still used to some of the control quirks of the vita but it's fun.
I might try getting into The Evil Within again as I was loaned it by a friend, but honestly it's just not clicking with me.
DBZ Xenoverse for the win!
Citizens of Earth and Fifa 15 with team Leverkusen!!
Mostly Dying Light over pleased by how good it turned out to be
Strider and Resident Evil HD on Xbox One, Professor Layton and the Unwound Future on DS and Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands on PSP
I was planning on playing Lord of Shadow 2 on PS3, but I think I'll play some more Bayonetta 2
Finishing rogue legacy in new game plus, destiny to get better gear for a raid on friday and driveclub to do the semi pro cup trophy - but Todd what's his face is keeping me in second, is it possible to hate a computer ai thus much?
Mordor. See if I can stop getting slaughtered every five minutes.
@SFGTK but Leverkusen are pants...
I planned to vary among different games (Mordor, Alien, Warriors both Samurai and Empire), but then Dragonball Xenoverse happened....
And now it will be Dragonball for the rest of the weekend and further.... amazingly funny game....
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
Or lederhosen... All sounds the same anyway!
Damn that Big Mac picture btw. So hungry now. After all's been said and done, the Big Mac is the Burger King!
I reinstalled Destiny, and I've been grinding ever since Friday, hahaha. For some reason, it's fun to me again and it's all I've played so far this weekend. If I can get away from Destiny, then my gaming goals for the weekend will be to finish the Delta Episode in Pokemon Omega Ruby, get a few more trophies in Far Cry 4 before I'm done with it for good, put some more time into my new game I started on Dragon Age Inquisition as my elven mage I created, and complete Snowhead Temple in Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. Games I'd like to get to but probably won't would be Smash Bros. for Wii U, Dying Light, and Bravely Default.
House of Cards for me too!
Rogue Legacy and will also be watching House of Cards...
Diablo 3, Smash Bros. on Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and some Mario 3D World. In other words, the ol' standbys
Far cry 4 . Alien isolation . Dying light . Waiting for the latter to arrive , positive reviews and mixed/negative reviews.... I tend to make my own mind up about games and go with my instincts . Looks like a cracker . Looking forward to it .
Samurai. Warriors. Me. Play. Lose Mind. Die. Happy.
A little Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and House of Cards on Netflix. It's going to be a fantastic weekend.
Killzone ShadowFall Multiplayer like always. Might give Far Cry 4 DLC a chance (the one that you have 30 minutes to go to an extraction point). Also I just completed Tomb Raider definitive edition but the multiplayer is empty which sucks. Ohh last but not least I need to finish STYX.
@AyeHaley Musou are amazing, aren't they? You either love them or hate them.... If you love strategy, when you have done with samurai give empire a chance...
Lots of coop on dying light and desperately trying to finish Tales of Symphonia: DotNW! 68 hours and counting!
I've been playing Tekken Tag Tournament 2 all week, so I'll probably keep going. I'm starting to regain my lost mojo after shelving the game for months, even beating some decent players. It feels good to win again.
MH4U is amazing on my fantastic New 3DS xl. No more headaches!
I started a new game in GT6 and I need to play Skyrim a lot (had a few guys around lv. 40, trying to get the lv. 50 trophy, then got a YLOD😐)
Mostly Dead or Alive 5: Last Round.
im in nz so my weekend is almost over
Weather's all kinds of amazing here, and it's a holiday weekend.
To the beach!
FINALLY got dyin light! Been waiting since it was first announced!
Only I bought 2 copies and now I have to wait untill my brother returns from holiday, then he still has to buy a ps4, then he has to have time off from work. And then I can play...!
Just a bit of Diablo III on PS4.
Can't go wrong with Peace Walker HD or Pokemon White 2.
@crazykcarter Better Call Saul on Netflix?
as a HUGE Dragon Ball nerd Dragon Ball XenoVerse will be about the only thing I'll be playing
I was playing LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (PS3), but it kept freezing on me during Movie 4's levels, so I switched over to Spider-Man: Edge of Time (PS3).
I plan on playing LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars (PS3) next.
I'm replaying the Uncharted Series in anticipation of Uncharted 4 !
Had a break from ps4 this weekend
Erm still playing 'The Order: 1886' I say 'Erm' because i have played it 5 nights now since i got it & for about 2 hours of those 5 nights & still haven't completed it(so that is about 10 hours so far) I thought 'The internet' said the game was short?! (Hmm) Anyway LOVING it so far What an amazing game. And playing GT6 again a bit with the B-Spec mode but just find the S-Licence just to hard to do Oh well.
The Order:1886 and I must admit I'm really enjoying it. I love the story and I'm actually enjoy the shooting sections. I really don't think it deserves all the bad press. It's a gorgeous looking game, has a great story and actually plays very well.
@crazykcarter Wow, I wish NA's Netflix was set up like that. We have to wait for a complete season.
