Tekken 7's likely a while off yet, but that hasn't stopped us from getting all excited about its arcade opening. Featuring father and son duo Heihachi and Kazuya, it's nice to see that the good old family bond is still there.
Throwing relatives into volcanoes is a favourite pastime of the Mishima, so it's no wonder that the two combatants have picked such a scorching arena for their latest tussle. And while the video may not be gameplay, it's still fulfilled its duty in filling the Push Square office with Tekken nostalgia.
Which side are you on? Do you spam Kazuya's spinning kick, or are you a fan of Heihachi's hair? Open up your third eye in the comments section below.

The hype is real. Tekken is my favorite of the 3D fighters by far.
Devil Kazuya interesting.
Very nice indeed. I presume Heihachi will be the second to last arcade fight, with Devil Kazuya then losing control and having to be fought at the end. Whatever the case, I loved Tekken Tag 2 so am really looking forward to this!
Also, sorry about this @ShogunRok, but the pedant in me has to point out it should be spelt "Mishima" not "Mashima"!
@SteveButler2210 I'm an absolute disgrace. I adore Tekken as well!
Bad ass
Looking good, lots of fighting games to look forward to this year.
Jeez those guys really love that Volcano!
All I can say is that I'm really excited for this.
Also, if they're going to throw someone in that volcano, I hope it's Law.
Mortal Kombat is my favorite Fighting franchise, but Tekken is a close 2nd.
Whoa! Kazuya use the power of Illumina.....
Yeah yeah, Kazuya has devil powers and lasers and stuff, but that's the thing. Heihachi doesn't NEED a third eye that shoots out lasers. He's a 75 year old man who has been beaten unconscious before being dropped off a cliff, killed a 28-year-old man who literally has the powers of Satan, caught in a huge robot explosion and is still alive and kicking everyone's collective butts.
