Cross-play is a decent little feature, when you think about it. Allowing players using different consoles to play with each other, it's a good, simple way to expand the base amount of users.
Toukiden: Kiwami's latest trailer shows cross-play in action between the PlayStation 4 and Vita versions of the upcoming release. Obviously if you nab both editions, you'll also be able to take your progress wherever you go thanks to cross-save functionality, although it's perhaps a bit of a shame that the title isn't cross-buy. Can't win 'em all, eh?

So... This means I can play online coop on my Vita with my wife while she is on the PS4?? Just making sure it's actual cross play, not just cross save.
And furthermore: has anyone heard anything bout the RRP of the digital version already? Can we expect $20 like Oreshika, or will they charge us $20 more cause this does have a physical release...although I'm buying digital all the same.
