Be honest: are you tempted to pre-order Final Fantasy Type-0 HD purely to get your hands on Final Fantasy XV's playable demo? We're sure there are plenty doing just that, but if you're eager to see what the first live glimpse of Square Enix's decade-in-the-making adventure looks like, you actually won't have to spend a penny.
The game's director, Hajime Tabata, will be livestreaming the demo on the 20th February on the company's YouTube channel. It'll start at 8:00PM Japanese time -- that's 11:00AM GMT, 03:00AM PST, and 6:00AM EST.

I was thinking of pre-ordering it before I knew of the demo but the demo sealed the deal for me because I wasn't missing out on that
I even pre-ordered the collectors edition for that manga and art book
I kind of just want to buy the demo off someone. Is that wrong?
@ztpayne7 Yes, you're a terrible person.
@ShogunRok haha! I just haven't seen enough of type-0 to justify $60 for it. I definitely want to play it eventually (I don't buy many games day one). That being said, the demo is only for the people who buy it right away.
At the right price, I would definitely be tempted.
@ztpayne7 Same here, to be honest. We'll see how it plays once we finally get our hands on it.
@ShogunRok @ztpayne7 it is a shame that it isn't releasing at a price point more in line with the KH / FFX/X-2 remasters, but at the same time a lot more work has gone into this. They've had to do a full English translation I assume from scratch, and also the graphical improvements are far above the other remasters so far. Not to mention that, frankly, it's a more recent game that they're re-mastering.
As far as I'm concerned I'll always happily pay full price for any Final Fantasy game worth its salt, and as this is supposed to be one of, if not "the", best FF games in years. Couple that with the fact that it's essentially a new release for us Western audiences, and I don't really mind the price tag. And the demo is just a bonus to be honest!
At least here you get a full game. Don't get me wrong here, I really liked Ground Zeroes, but if there was ever an argument to be had over dodgy pricing, that trumps this any day.
@FullbringIchigo jealous man, that set is so nice, but everywhere seems to be sold out in the UK now! Also, even if I could find it I'm not sure I can afford the £70-80 spend! :S
@SteveButler2210 I had to borrow some money of my brother to cover it but I wasn't missing out on that.
there isn't many collectors editions I really ever want because many just ain't worth the money in my opinion such as the DB XenoVerse Trunks Travel Edition (even though I'm a huge Dragon Ball fan) but this Type-0 HD one I just had to have
I believe I ordered the collectors edition too. Excited!
Right, time I try 'complete' my gaming backlog before it comes out at least (which I doubt!)
So misleading. ;_;
@Liam1894 a backlog you can complete in a month isn't a backlog, it's a backtwig.
Ehh, I consider it's backlog as they're a number of things bought which I haven't considered finishing yet.
And I don't think I'll finish them within a month!
They're still making Final Fantasy games?
I'm actually seriously considering pre ordering just for the demo. Last time I was this excited about a demo was mgs2. I'm too old for this really
