3D Realms' Bombshell Reboots with a Few More Clothes

3D Realms' forthcoming isometric shooter Bombshell still looks like the kind of game that 90s smackheads would swoon over – but at least protagonist Shelly Harrison has learned that naturism and an occupation as a bomb disposal specialist don't necessarily go hand-in-hand. Packing a less pronounced Ellie Goulding-esque haircut and a pair of trousers, the gun toting heroine almost appears respectable now.

We're still not sure about the game, though, which was announced for the PlayStation 4 back in the day. The gameplay seems similar to something like Dead Nation, albeit with a much prompter pace – and big boss battles. The problem is that it appears so out-of-date from where we're sitting; the art direction looks like it would go hand-in-hand with a Limp Bizkit song. Stuff like this was considered cool once up a time, but we've moved on from the 90s. Thank heavens!
