We should have all expected this, really. Launching in Europe late last week, the rather enjoyable Dragon Ball XenoVerse is understandably popular among fans, but, of course, this has led to a number of online related issues.
Reports are flooding in that the game's servers are struggling, as Time Patrollers from across the globe attempt to connect. Publisher Bandai Namco's aware of the problem, though, and it's working to resolve it.
"We're currently experiencing problems with the Dragon Ball Xenoverse servers - rest assured we're taking steps to resolve the problem," the company stated on Twitter. Is this to be expected, or are you getting a bit tired of titles releasing with such issues? Enter rage mode in the comments section below.

I am really enjoying the game and yes, since launch day I couldn't connect to server. So my city is fullfilled with "bot" npc... not that I care so much till now... I have still to level up to a decent point before I am gonna adventure online.... but still.... hope it won't be another painful experience like Driveclub...
@arnoldlayne83 strange thing is you can still play the quests online from the offline lobby, just go to online parallel quests desk and you can still play online, I was just doing it
I think the only thing that's down is the online lobby not the online gaming, it's strange
@FullbringIchigo as far as i understood, you can venture the online quest soloing.that would explain why it is still possible to do them. How is your city? Mine is populated by npc with blue name (so the game ones) and yellow name (as far as i understood they should be other human players). So at the moment, the only thing I could see from online was the leaderboard...
They underestimated the demand, which means it's surpassing expectations!
Well, that's a pro of waiting to buy a game.
@arnoldlayne83 oh I was doing the online quests with other ps4 users the online the online fighting seems to work fine it's just the lobby that's down
also my offline lobby has the npcs with the blue and yellow names too
