We had a good feeling about today's Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn panel at PAX East, and we weren't wrong. Not only did the massively multiplayer online role-playing game's expansion finally get a release date, but we've also been gifted with this great first look at Heavensward's new zones -- or locales, for those unfamiliar with the term.
They all look as pretty as we've come to expect, and seem like they'll be a joy to explore. From intimidating architecture to vast open fields, the new locations should provide plenty of new opportunities for adventure.
