It's taken its sweet time, but HBO GO will finally stream to the PlayStation 4 from today in North America. The application will work just like the PlayStation 3 version, and will ask you to authenticate your console with your current cable/satellite service through here. Once you've done so, you'll be free to catch up with shows like True Detective, Silicon Valley, and, of course, Game of Thrones.
Will you be using this app on your PS4, and are there any other on-demand services that you'd like to see added to the system's roster of entertainment options? Stick a sword in the comments section below.

This really just came out today, 16 months after launch? ? No wonder PS TV never got HBO Go, Sony didn't want to make the PS4 look bad.
HBO Go on PS3 is actually 1 of the reasons I bought a 2nd PS3 for my bedroom over the PS TV, so the above joke may have some merit to it.
Hey @get2SammyB any news on the PS Vue service? That was another factor for getting a PS3 in the bedroom but it's been quite since the NY beta.
@rjejr Not heard anything lately, sadly.
any news on the stand alone version where you wont need a cable provider for the app?
Sadly, now that this has FINALLY released for ps4, I can't seem to think of a reason to boot up my Xbox One.
It took them 1 year almost to the day of the ps3 hbo go launch until ps4 hbo go launch. Get your sh*t together Sony - for real.
