Remember that obnoxious commercial for F1 World Grand Prix on the Nintendo 64? We suspect that the folks at Evolution Studios are reciting the advertisement ad nauseam right now, as PlayStation 4 exclusive DriveClub is finally set to get replays this month. The Runcorn-based developer may have mucked up the title's launch, but it's right back on track now, and this author has started to look forward to its regular post-release support.
Game director Paul Rustchynsky confirmed the above tidbit on Twitter, before teasing a new trailer, which is due out on Monday. This will supposedly showcase the "amazing cars" set to enter the game's virtual garage in March. The developer said: "I'm confident that this is the best DriveClub video to date, [and am] looking forward to showing it off." Considering that the title has played host to some incredible clips, our hype levels have been suitably raised.

I really want to get this game, but I'm thinking that Project CARS is gonna be my go to racing game on the PS4 when it comes out. I watched a gameplay video of it and the sounds are hands down the best I've ever heard in a racing game.
Still waiting for a plus discount in NA, like the one Europe got for it...
@T7L3RB not just saying this, Driveclub is and will be the best track racer this gen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiDTA-oe1Co
@T7L3RB you must be kidding me, besides driveclub and gran turismo ps4 edition, there won't be any racing game better that those 2, so do a favor for yourself and get driveclub until gran turismo arrives in a couple of years.
Driveclub IS awesome, and gets better every month. I love it so much I spent £600 on a omega gt racing rig. Project cars might be ace too, or might not be. Live for today people!
Yep, Drive Club is an excellent racer. Time trials are so addictive.
I was baffled when I found out that it had no replays, especially looking as good as it does.
FINALLY! this is going to 100% increase my enjoyment of driveclub. And I was allready enjoying it btw.. Its a cool game, challenges are still often very slow to load (I wanted to say that because everbody says it works flawless now while it doesnt)
@T7L3RB If you can find it cheap, I'd get DriveClub, too. From what I've played of Project CARS, it seems great - but I think if you're into racing games, you'd appreciate the simcade aspects of DriveClub as well.
@jayclayx @get2sammyb @sampson3121 lots of love for DriveClub I see...I'll definitely pick it up first then...really starved for a racer on my PS4. Plus I can get it for pretty cheap so thanks for setting me straight guys!
@T7L3RB you welcome, you won't regret getting this game, yes, it had a bad start, but the game keep improving over the weeks, yet this is the most beautiful game (graphics) I have ever seen in a console so far.
@jayclayx the rough start doesn't deter me at all but I was a little concerned about content...seems they keep adding cars and tracks every time I turn around though so I don't see that being a problem anymore
Love DC,not really bothered about replays though.i'm a bit rubbish with the super/hyper class cars thus far,so it'd be nice to have some class specific online game modes. Also,i would really like a fix for the precipitation when coming out of tunnels -it doesn't look right,i want to see the rain/snow at the end of the tunnel not just have it turn on after exiting the tunnel.
