And so an absolutely enormous week on Push Square comes to a close. There were tons of highlights this time, but Dragon Ball XenoVerse and the ongoing PlayStation Plus saga have to come out on top. For those out of the loop on the latter story, Sony's still yet to announce March's big Instant Game Collection update – despite the new month having now arrived. We've included everything that you need to know down below.

Dragon Ball XenoVerse - 8/10

Sadly, if you've been holding out for a more traditional Dragon Ball fighter, Dragon Ball XenoVerse isn't it. It is, however, a well realised and refreshing take on Akira Toriyama's universe, which allows fans to appreciate the source material from a whole new angle. Accessible, bombastic combat, entirely customisable characters, and some fantastic online functionality give the game a unique identity, and arguably make it one of the most ambitious licensed titles that we've seen in years.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Episode One: Penal Colony - 7/10

Bizarre business model and tatty presentation aside, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - Episode One: Penal Colony is a surprisingly enjoyable affair. The campaign introduces some interesting asymmetrical play, and the camp storytelling and cleverly uncovered cliff hanger will leave you yearning for more. Meanwhile, there's ample content in the arcade-inspired Raid Mode to keep you occupied until the next instalment's promised content drop. It's hardly a revelatory release thus far – but this could yet be great.

Interview: We Talk Tactics with the Producer of Dynasty Warriors

Dynasty Warriors is one of those franchises that has an incredibly loyal Western fanbase, but will likely never replicate the success it enjoys in its native Japan overseas. As such, it's not often that we hear from the people behind the long running hack-and-slash series, but we've been fortunate enough to track down the property's producer, Akihiro Suzuki. The result is an interview about the games, their future, crossovers, fans, and cultural differences.

These Are the Players: A Conversation with YouTube Game Reviewer Caddicarus

Here at Push Square Towers, we're constantly blithering on about the most famous game developers and designers, but there's always been a hole in our coverage: the players. We're talking about the fans – the people that love the brand as much as we do. Ultimately, we're referring to folk just like you. In this new series, we'll be catching up with everyone from prominent cosplayers to Trophy hunters – but we'll be kicking things off with YouTube star Caddicarus. With a growing audience of 350,000 subscribers, the popular personality entertains thousands of PlayStation fans every day. But enough of our chit-chat – let's allow the man to introduce himself, shall we?

Sony's seemingly still making final arrangements for March's anticipated PlayStation Plus update, as the company still hasn't revealed the contents of next month's Instant Game Collection refresh. Rumours overnight suggested that OlliOlli 2 would be part of the roster, but nothing has been confirmed at this point.

Get Great Deals on 8 Weeks of Upcoming PS4 Games with the PlayStation Store's Newest Promotion

Wow, well this is a pretty good promotion. 2015's Spring Fever deals are kicking off soon on the PlayStation Store, with PlayStation Plus subscribers able to knock down the prices on eight weeks' worth of new releases.

Rockstar Keeping Red Dead Redemption PS4 Holstered for Now, Reckons Pachter

Outspoken industry analyst Michael Pachter doesn't believe that you'll be seeing a new Red Dead Redemption release on the PlayStation 4 anytime soon, despite publishing overlord Take Two's incessant hints. Speaking with Gaming Bolt, he suggested that developer Rockstar Games would have announced it by now if it was due. "I think that you'll hear about Red Dead at least a year ahead of time," he said.

Ratchet & Clank PS4 Is Further Along Than You Think, and Is Gorgeous

Insomniac Games is running test screenings for the Ratchet & Clank Movie in Los Angeles this weekend, and it's Tweeted out some new artwork from the forthcoming flick in order to celebrate. In the snaps, we get our first look at Chairman Drek, who fans will recognise as the main villain from the franchise's inaugural outing. He looks similar to his PlayStation 2 counterpart – complete with pointed head and bushy eyebrows – so it certainly seems like the series' silver screen debut will remain loyal to the original games.

Apparently, People Buy PS4s Over Xbox Ones and Wii Us for the Resolution

This should go down well. According to a report by Nielsen, the PlayStation 4 is selling like hotcakes due to "better resolution". We know, we're not exactly sure what to make of this, either.

Batman: Arkham Knight's New PS4 Trailer Has a Plan

Hot on the heels of this morning's mature rating, Warner Bros has released a two minute story trailer for the rapidly approaching Batman: Arkham Knight. In it, we see a ragtag group of Gotham's villains – including Scarecrow, Penguin, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, and more – all plotting to take down our big eared pal. We've got a sneaking suspicion that he's still going to come out on top.
