PlayStation 4 firmware update v2.50 is coming soon, and we've got the full rundown of its features through here. Of course, the written word is all well and good, but sometimes it's better to actually see things in action. Fortunately, that's exactly what Reddit user TehPoisonOne has provided. Yes, that alias made us cringe, too.
The footage shows off everything from storage backup to button remapping and more. It's not posted on YouTube because, well, this is all supposedly still under NDA – but Sony might have known that it would leak the second that it was sent to PlayStation MVPs. Watch the full clip, and let us know if you like what you see.

Wish Push Square was able to do a demo as this guys presentation bored me to death. I guess I'll wait to try it myself. Don't think I'll download it day one though just in case my PS4 gets bricked. I'll let the world beta test this new major update.
Trophies just got awesome! That screen shot when earned is super cool! I have used the term that trophies were a photo album of you past games and what you achieved in them. But never thought of a screen shot album saved with them for you to view. Best idea ever, Thank you Playstation.
@WARDIE There's an issue with these type of videos, they are usually made by hobbyists with little to no skill in entertainment video making. But without them we wouldn't get the information. So unfortunately we have to suck it up. I watched one of the most unwatchable videos about a unique housing for the cps2 Capcom arcade board (which is awesome btw) but the fella presenting it sounded like he had never conversed with anyone before, it was awful. But without him I would never have known.
