We suspect that this week's WAYP is going to be dominated by one title: Bloodborne. Most of us here at Push Square Towers are getting down and dirty with From Software's latest, and we suspect that things will be much the same for many of you. A word of advice for everyone: DualShock 4's are really expensive, so don't throw one at the wall.

Sunday, Bloodborne, Sunday. I'll be continuing my quest into Yharnam this weekend, as Bloodborne is, naturally, going to be my go-to game. I'm still not sure whether I'm going to get on with the release long-term, but I'm certainly looking forward to my punishment in the here and now.

We're now officially creeping past the first big review season of 2015, so that means it's time to catch up on everything that I haven't quite finished due to time constraints. I'll be helping newbies online in Toukiden: Kiwami, grinding for skills that continue to evade me in Dragon Ball XenoVerse, and trying to beat my arcade score in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. The latter has become a weekend staple – its approachable gameplay makes it a perfect fit for lazy Sunday afternoons.

I'm splitting my weekend between two activities: watching Game of Thrones and playing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. Both have more in common than you would think at first glance, as they're highly addictive and aren't afraid to take your heart and stamp on it.

Like the rest of the worldwide PlayStation 4 owning population, I've been playing a lot of Bloodborne – or rather, it's been playing me. With a cleaver. Aside from that, the recent release of Heists on Grand Theft Auto V have compelled me to finally pick it up and get stuck in as somewhat of a side project while I'm not being mauled by all manner of sharp objects.

I'm planning on letting a coin flip decide if I want to spend the weekend bashing my head against a brick wall or playing Bloodborne. Both options will have roughly the same effect on me, so it's a bit of a toss-up – a coin-toss up even – which one is going to emerge victorious. In addition, I'll probably loll about enjoying some Netflix as I tick away the days before Mortal Kombat X. [Always looking forward is our Graham – Ed]

After attending a nice video game tournament at my university on Friday night, it's time for all things Bloodborne this weekend. The chains of education may pull me away from its ominous yet captivating gothic world, but I will make time to answer the call of the hunt with pure confidence. Okay, maybe a bit of wary trepidation will serve me well.

While I'll probably end up spending most of my time trying to choose between Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Bloodborne, it's safe to say my reaction time will be tested either way. Firmware update v2.50 also gave me the daunting task of sorting through my 350 plus games and removing all of the zero per cent disappointments I've accumulated over the past few years.
Will you be spending the weekend welling up in front of Bloodborne, or have you got more positive plans for your time off work? Strike us with a Saw Cleaver in the comments section below.

Bloodborne too and some Bindings of Isaac for a break.
Bloodborne, Final Fantasy Type-0
That's a 2x combo for Bloodborne. I wonder if it'll end up filling the entire comments section?
I'll be playing DmC Definitive Edition, Final Fantasy Type-0 and Dragon Ball XenoVerse
also watching Bones on DVD
Not too much gaming for me this weekend due to work and Wrestlemania. If I do manage to play something it will be Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition since I can't pass up the 100% XP and gold event going on now.
lol I tried going through my trophies but it'll seriously take me a whole day. So instead, I'm having dreams in which Valkyria Chronicles 1 has trophies. Best game on PS3, imho
Hyrule Warriors till I can't stand it no more.
Polished off pretty much everything in Episode Duscae this morning (all except the cherished frogs), and any other time this weekend will go on finishing Unity and getting truly stuck in to FF Type-0
Just started typing "Type 0 remote play" in Google and half way through typing was slapped with a MAJOR spoiler thanks to the suggested searches. Brilliant.
I'm keeping my pace with Persona (PSP) and maybe I'll finish Dead Nation on the PS3.
@SteveButler2210
Borderlands handsome collection
@get2sammyb on the positive side of things, I'm now playing it on remote play with 60fps and it runs like a dream, actually playing far better than on the big screen. But yeah, dad sad times all the same, nobody likes spoilers, and this was a big one Google should have a switch to remove all results containing them haha!
Dying Light with a friend
DMC definite edition
Valiant Hearts
Maybe Resident Evil Revelations 2
I'll be treasure hunting in the Uncharted games. I have 3 more to find in Drake's Fortune, and I'm halfway done with Among Thieves.
I'll be doing my rounds on Tekken and do some Assassin's Creed 2 as well. It kinda makes me sad that the franchise is generally loathed these days, because I really can't get enough of AC2.
Bloodborne
Bloodborne and the handsome collection. Maybe just maybe I'll try for some Diablo, that platinum will be the end of me
Diablo 3 - if anyone sees me playing jump in its better on multi, will play heasets off though as my wife's had enough of me shouting about legendary armour. The 2x xp is pretty awesome also.
Bloodborne and valiant hearts this weekend...
Hi guys I'm currently loving Bloodborne but I have a question.
How can I enter a player's game and help HIM defeat a boss? I don't like to ask for help but I do like to help other players...how can I do it?
Bloodborne, GTA V, Helldivers, Dying Light, Diablo 3... WAY too much to play. Mainly Bloodborne now though. But yeah, PS4 doesn't have any games...
@AFCC You need the small resonant bell if you want to JOIN someone, you can buy it in the dreamworld once you have 10 insight (acquired by finding madman skulls or seeing/killing/helping kill bosses). If you want to CALL someone in your game, it's enough having seen the first boss, going back to the dreamworld and get the beckoning bell. Careful though, when you're done with a boss in an area you can no longer CALL someone to join your game, still can join someone else's game though, which btw is a great way to farm echoes or just generally practice your skills, as you don't lose your echoes when dying in another players game. Hope that helped. It's an awkward system at first, but everything in bloodboren is awkward at first, stick around long enough and you'll be rewarded! Best tip though: play all sections of the game multiple times, talk to everyone, explore, if you're afraid, do so in someone else's game until you know the area. Then you'll grow "into" the game and things aren't that harsh anymore but only WILDLY entertaining.
Bloodborne is calling me, but I'm resisting until I finish at least ONE of the games I've bought this year first.
I wish I could play FF Type-0 too, but as far as I know, the blur issue hasn't been mitigated. I guess I could just use the lock-on system exclusively, but even that gets disorienting when the camera automatically jumps from enemy to enemy. Blah!
FarCry4, Knack & whipping my team mate's ass at Driveclub
@charlesnarles This is a bit off mark, but Valkyria Chronicles is $7 on Steam (or Gamesplanet UK) right now and it has achievements (!!!). I never played this game on PS3 (mostly because it didn't have trophies), so this looks tempting to me...
Bloodborne. The game definitely hooked me in...
Bloodborne naturally. I'll probably start up Transistor or Bravely Default again as well when I get tired of getting my ass handed to me by From Software
Bloodborne. I really like this game: makes me feel like a kid a again.
@themcnoisy haha! Glad to here I'm not the only one! Halfway through our epic Raid I went from shouting to whispering to saying nothing at all and. My woman was getting that mad with me.
@Scollurio Thanks i really want to repeat the cleric beast in someone else's game! Think I don't have enough insight since I don't have the Insight store open yet...
Destiny
I have finished Dragon Age Inquisition and Sly Cooper:Thieves in Time.
I am trying not to buy Bloodborne or Toukiden as I haven't really got the spare cash. But I have just got paid....
In a frenzy of geeky purchasing after attending a comic con today I bought Bloodborne (and too many Batman tee shirts). Punishing games aren't usually my thing but I can't ignore its visual style and Lovecraft influences.
I'll also polish off Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the Vita at some point.
Codename S.T.E.A.M. (3DS) - Getting close to the end of this one. Not bad, but I can't say I'm a big fan of this game.
Mega Man X4 (PS1 Classics) - Replaying this because I couldn't pass up getting it in that flash sale last weekend. Plan on going through the game as both X and Zero.
Captain Toad
I gave in to the hype and impulse brought bloodborne off the store. Im so bad at these games!
@AFCC Your Insight is displayed next to the little eye in the top right of the screen.
@themcnoisy Woman just don't understand
Dragon Age Inquisition. I'm like 30 hours in and feel like I haven't even put a dent in to it. The amount of things to do in this game is insane.. I love it.
BLOODBORNE! Loving it so far! I've attempted the Vicar Amelia four times now. I think I'll get her on the next attempt though.
@Star-Lord You know you want to!
Resident Evil Revelations 2
Now that Destiny of Spirits is gone, I've been playing DmC (ps4), Persona 4 Golden and the glorious Knack. Knack is ace! One of the funnest games I've played in a while.
@blah01
Are you enjoying Knack? I'm still trying to figure out why reviewers and many other gamers hated it so much.
NHL 15. Even though it's not what it once was, I still need to play hockey! Also, Battlefield Hardline.... I don't know why, but it's my favourite battlefield since bad company 2. Takes itself less serious I guess! Both on ps4.
Bloodborne bloodborne and more bloodborne. Such an incredible game.
This is definitely I'm my option the first absolute MUST own ps4 game. There have been decent exclusives, pretty good even... but this game is just incredible. I can't get enough. The atmosphere is just so perfect.
@mitcHELLspawn agree totally, this rotten gothic lovercraft stage is absolutely amazing. Finally a not fairy elf dwarf qhatsoever rpg! And the mechanics are great too! This and helldiver are the ones to have! And so close to each others! Bye bye free time..
@arnoldlayne83 @mitcHELLspawn
You both sound pretty clued up with Bloodborne and well...to be honest im not doing to bad on it but I'm not exactly amazing! Would love your guys help! Can I get your PSN's? Mine is TiltedHalo on PSN! Hope to chat n play with you guys soon message me back or something and let me know. Thanks! Could certainly use the help
@mitcHELLspawn please may I add you to PSN?
Bloodborne and God of War Ascensions!
I would be pulling off Heist and playing dead nation which I bought for the price of 2 candy bars! lol but my Playstation died last week
Enjoy your gaming pushers!
I just used that 10% discount on bloodborne. So I'll most likely sink into that and play a lil bit of destiny.
@MikeymooUK add anyone on the psn exchange thread in the forums. just say you are a push⬜ member. Put some time aside and add as many people as possible.
@naruball
Yes, I got it so my 4 year old daughter and l have something to play together. She loves it and its a good game. Its designed as an on-ramp for kids to get into PlayStation games. Pity there aren't many more games like this on the PS4 which adults and kids can play together. Nintendo seem to have that. Perhaps another R&C will sort it.
Just got my platinum in Diablo 3 so it's mainly been that. Such a good game.
Think now I've got that out of the way I'll be picking up The Order 1886 or Bloodborne I think.
Bloodborne! It is the first game in a while which I cannot wait to play again and again!
Warframe. At the moment everynight since I downloaded it. So addictive grinding to build my character up to progress. Especially as at the moment I'm fighting solo in a game that really requires coop. My friends are still playing destiny or minecraft lol
Far Cry 4(PS4), Suspend & Resume(then i say 'WOW! again at the speed of it),Far Cry 4(PS4), Suspend & Resume(then i say 'WOW! again at the speed of it),Far Cry 4(PS4), Suspend & Resume(then i say 'WOW! again at the speed of it),Far Cry 4(PS4), Suspend & Resume(then i say 'WOW! again at the speed of it),Far Cry 4(PS4), Suspend & Resume(then i say 'WOW! again at the speed of it)...
@ZeD. Same here! Bloodborne and helldivers are keeping me occupied!
@MikeymooUK
Whats your PSN ID? For bloodborne?!
