A slew of retailer promotions, coupled with the addition of its hotly anticipated Heists update, has propelled Grand Theft Auto V back to the top of the UK sales charts. The title snuffed out former frontrunner Dying Light in order to secure its eighth cumulative week at the summit of the British best sellers list, which puts it just two behind the ten weeks attained by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City way back in 2002.
It was actually a decent week for variety, with DmC: Devil May Cry β Definitive Edition entering in fifth, and Sniper Elite III: Ultimate Edition also firing into tenth. Zombie Army Trilogy moved down into ninth, meaning that UK studio Rebellion occupied two of the top ten slots. Familiar favourites Minecraft, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Evolve rounded out the remainder of the prime positions. As always, you can peruse the full list of movers and shakers through here.
Before you go, though, we want to know what's been keeping your wallet dry of late. Have you picked up any new titles lately, or are you waiting for something right around the corner? Cough up in the comments section below.

DMC certainly deserved to sell well, also no surprise to see GTA doing well as with the heists and that.
