Ever wondered whether that person that you just swore at in Killzone: Shadow Fall is actually someone from Guerrilla Games? A new feature added as part of PlayStation 4 firmware update v2.50 will set apart certain industry professionals, such as selected game developers, producers, designers, community managers, and more. Push Square staff weren't invited to the party.
SCEE's Chris Owen showed the feature off on Twitter, flaunting his tick icon via the PlayStation App. Perhaps the funniest thing is that, at the time of typing, Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida's account has not yet been white listed. To be fair, he's probably too busy playing Bloodborne to jump through the necessary hoops.

the only people on my friend list are my friends, I don't add people I don't know personaly
Ohhhh... I'll have to keep this in mind.
For.... reasons.
I read "Royalty" as Royalty. You know, those brothers who are always in the news, and their grandma. (Or more like a great aunt I suppose.) I think as an American I've been spending too much time on a British based site.
I'm currently working on a project that may or may not appear on PS4. If it were to appear, would I be blessed with this awesome check? Or is it only for 1st party people
Very interesting feature and kinda nice. I doubt any of the people I friended will have that still you don't know.
I have to ask though can't that cause trolls and other rif raf to be able to harass the employees alot more now?
@Tasuki Maybe, but these are also the people with the banhammers.
@Jaz007 this is true.
"There's the devs that nerfed the AK get him"
This maybe hilarious.
My mate was one of the QA's on Alien Isolation
@darkhairwarrior You and I both, I am rather interested to know.
I like this idea. I am looking forward to schooling some devs on their own games. Lol.
