Destiny's second slice of DLC, House of Wolves, has finally been given a release date by publisher Activision. Your Guardian's next big adventure will commence on the 19th May, and yes, that's the same day that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches.
It's about time, too - even lasting fans of the sci-fi shooter are beginning to complain about the lack of new content, as it's been months since the title's previous 'expansion' released.
According to Destructoid, the DLC's got a new trailer, too, but at the time of writing, it's been made private. Nevertheless, we'll be sure to keep you updated when it goes live.
Are you still playing Destiny? Dare we ask what level you are? Grab us some special ammo in the comments section below.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi That's the problem with the whole system, to be honest. If it's anything like The Dark Below, everyone will be able to get past the previous level cap without actually doing anything strenuous. We'll also have to pray that we won't have to go through the horrific process of upgrading and replacing every piece of gear with a more powerful version of the same thing.
That is the driving force of any MMO based game. Expansion gear is same with higher stats that needs to be worked for all over again. After maxing level and beating the original raid Hardmode, i felt no need to either farm for new gear in Crota nor max out the new level. I just beat the raid then left it lol You can do Everything the game has to offer being lvl30 or 31 so i didnt see any need. The same will happen for HoW as well.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi You can buy resources with Vangaurd/Crucible marks. It's a good way to use them once you hit the cap.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Not when you're hitting the mark cap at the Crucible constantly after spending 20 marks on materials every time you hit. If you're doing it like that, the conversion feels fair.
lol this is still around?
I pretty much stopped playing 2 months back.
Got one of each toon all at 32.
Got all exotic armors and all weapons apart from 3. Got most of the raid guns and gear and most of the iron banner stuff too.
Still enjoy playing the game but just not got any reason to until the next dlc.
Crota was pretty disappointing to be honest, nowhere near the quality of vog.
That said, I'm always happy to run nightfalls or raids to help people through, so if anyone is interested then give me a shout.
I for one cant wait. Hopefully the cap will rise to 40 and the remaining raids we have can be complete as one (or two, three or four) massive push square mob.
To be honest I don't care much for reaching level caps anymore in Destiny, it's a cool shooter that I can jump in now and then, play some PvP and shoot aliens on Mars for a couple of hours and call it a night.
Hahaha bungie your crazy. Coming from someone who was a daily player up till shortly before bloodborne came out, they are nuts. I've been telling the rest of my friends, April was the sweet spot. I guess the only good thing is my destiny addiction got broken thanks to the extensive content drought. And if they think I'm going to backlog witcher like I did with pretty much every major release I bought last year so I can stay ahead of the curve....well they are pretty damn funny.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi
Bungie have said that the upgrade path they took when TDB dropped (IE losing all spent XP) was wrong - an understatement to say the least. Also they say that when HoW drops the Crota Raid gear wont become redundant - I'd be interested to see if that comes true - it was a pain knowing that all the time spent on the VoG raid was wasted when you could buy geas as good straight from a vendor.
