This is why you should never doubt Finnish developer Housemarque's ability to deliver: Alienation looks freakin' rad. When the studio revealed a few details regarding its isometric shooter earlier in the week, we lamented the lack of footage, as everything that it was describing sounded like Helldivers to us. It turns out that it's actually Dead Nation – on speed.

The two-and-a-half minutes of co-op gameplay footage embedded below show off the kind of flashy visual presentation that we've come to expect from the critically acclaimed outfit over the years, as extraterrestrials get incinerated to the sound of pumping electro beats. Consider our concerns melted like a Martian's torso.
